I sent the mother in law a heather plant, she will love it.

My brother suggested "Oh, we'll get Mom an new iPod". I however, pointed out that she doesn't run anymore and didn't know how to use the old one. LOL.

We usually send flowers from NYC to Mommy in LA.

The avatar is Catalina, a beautiful shot from Newport which I took several years ago.

YEA!!!!!! I had a Mojito tonight!!!! Mrs. Brd had a few margaritas. Very bizarre and somewhat hip restaurant. Food was OK, I would not go again, but the Mojito was nice, the mint was fresh.

"Stairway to Paradise" was a revue developed for Encores! of the music from the 10's-40's. I definitely enjoyed it!

We toasted the end of local constuction on Wednesday! The kids may have to go to public high school, but at least we have one nice bathroom!

Mom's baathroom is coming along slowly. They delivered the wrong tiles, so they needed to be changed. But, it'll be finished...one day.

I regret not taking more time with the tile. It is very nice, but I should have selected each group of tiles for more uniformity. Mrs. Brd likes the contrast.

It was the contrasting tile that was the problem. They are to highlight niches in the wall and shower area, and to add a feature to mirror on the back wall.
