hehe, "I saw A Chorus Line when I was 16....", it was cute. I am kicking myself for not watching it earlier. I've had the 1st season for about 2 - 3 months. Bob's cameo performance was awesome, hehe!
Good - other than taking a header in Florida and doing one spectacular fall in front of 4 fellow attorneys - all is good.
The only upside is that if I ever want to claim Workers Comp, I have 4 witnesses who are also company lawyers.
Actually, my knee is a very pretty color blue.
Other than that, mom is happy, and it has been a good weekend.
How's things with you?
Sorry to hear about your knee! Take it easy!!!
Me - I'm here, surviving, doing my thing! Nothing too exciting!
It was a spectacular fall - if you are going down, well, at least make it memorable.

Ouch! Feel better, YWIW!
Last year, as a camp counselour, I slid across a muddy stage, did a little dance, and fell, completely covered in mud. Tried to stand up, slipped again.
See, they had apparently decided to hose down the stage. I was evidently not aware of that.
I should mention - it was in front of about 300 11-12 year olds.
I've never really embarrassingly fallen in front of anyone, because I fall all the time so they are used to it (Tink and gravity do not get along well). However, i was at a party once with all of my co workers. We were outside and I was chatting with people when all of a sudden, everyone is screaming and start smacking my head. Well, turns out the wind blew my hair into a tiki torch and my hair erupted into it's own fireworks display. Luckily I only lost about 6-8" of my top layer, and since my hair is so thick and long, it was salvageable. Now try walking into work on Monday after that!
Oh Tink. That's good.
I just realized...I forgot to buy bread for my lunch tomorrow! Looks like I'm bringing leftovers or something!
This was my first spectacular fall in front of witnesses.
Oh well, at least nothing was broken - now if the damn cat would just stop walking on me at night it would all be good!
Happy Monday all.

Y, I hope that your knee is better.
Hot today in Chicago - up to 85!
Hey Brd - any good court appearances?
The only good thing about my graceful plop was that I had a pain pill or two during the lawyers conference.
That made it almost tolerable. Though there was a nice dinner cruise in the Bay.
The weather here is cooling down a bit (I think).
Off to my early conference call ... ratbastards!
Enjoy (if you can) YWIW!
Looks to be around 70 today. The degrees are fine, its the humidity that's the bitch.

Y, nothing interesting, but I am very busy!
Busy is good. I wish I was busier sometimes.
You... I hope the knee is healing quickly.
I'm so happy to have turned you all into S&A fans and we can all share it. Can't wait for Season 3 on dvd.
I'll get to it eventually DD, promise!
i'll be on her case now too DD! I just bumped Season 2 to the top of my que!
Gee, if you would come over this week to hang/help me clean/entertain me, we could TOTALLY watch Slings and Arrows!
lol, shira! What are you going to do when you are back in LA???
shira - what happens to your apt while you're in LA? Will you give it up? Find another when you get back? Or are you keeping it?

I am sad that none of you have stopped by the West Coast Ensemble fundraiser thread to say break a leg, or to at least offer sympathy for my hurt eyeball. (Details in the thread.)
:-P
Erika - I stay away from that thread because I'm too jealous I can't be there!!! I know you are going to kick butt! Eye? What happened to the leg? Must go check out that thread!
Oh dear... sorry! I had no idea you were performing. Good luck!

Thanks, my dears!
Tink: I have a scratch on my cornea. Ow.
How did you manage such a painful injury?
I'm subletting my apartment. Which means I must clean clean clean!!
