Have you thought of being a play doctor?
Nope, I just like to watch shows, I don't want to do anything else with them.
Oh... I meant curious as in "I wonder what the hell they're doing" kind'a curious. I am afraid it will be another Wedding Singer. Though you like Wedding Singer. Then again, the source material is a touch darker anyway.
I LOVE Wedding Singer.
High Fidelity, it felt like people bitching for 2+ hours. I'd rather have happy-go-lucky

I could not get through the HF book, boring!
I must have an HF-free zone around here. The book and film were never part of my world. Could someone educate me? What is the attraction that made producers rush out and throw it on a stage?

I cannot help you, I read about ten pages of the book, put it down and picked up David Sedaris.
Oh! So, you can talk pretty, too!

Yes, while wearing cordoray, yet still having lunch naked.
Hmm. Perhaps you removed the corduroy to eat without those annoying whiff-whiff sounds.

I tried to find an excerpt from Santaland Diaries, truly one of my favorites.
How is Tuesday?
brd, I love David Sedaris! I've only read "naked," and have been carrying "Me Talk Pretty One Day" for a couple of weeks. Just haven't had a chance to read it. Maybe I'll start today while I wait for them to open the theater.

My wife has only recently started reading his books. She keeps copies in the car while waiting for the kids.
Wow, what a blow out last night!!!!! The Bears are for real!
Congrats on the Bears, brd.
Tuesday is...well, Tuesday.
DD, if you've only read Naked, I can understand why you might hesitate a little. He had a lot of anger and cynicism in Naked and in Barrel Fever. They're funny, but occasionally unsettling. Me Talk Pretty and Dress Your Family are total romps, though. Completely different tone.

There are a few chapters in all of his books that are just not funny or interesting, but the rest is nothing short of brilliant. He captures family life like no other writer.

I have read a couple of Sedaris' books, I don't remember them at all though.
DayDreamer; I read naked too! I love reading naked. as a matter of fact I am reading this thread while it is all hanging out.
Oh, my eyes, my eyes!

WW, I actually really enjoyed "Naked." I've just been busy opening a show...
DAME... your incorregible.
How is the show going, DD?
Great! We open on Friday, built the set yesterday. We've been ready to open for a couple of weeks. It'll be nice to be on the set tonight.
On that note, I'm off to rehearsal.
Have fun!
Still naked!
