I can't think of any situation in my life in which I "need" alcohol or drugs.
And certainly I would not want it clogging up my head during a show!! (with the exception of maybe a Pink Floyd laser show, in which it is perfectly acceptable)
Well good for you. And I can't think of any situation in which I would waste my money traveling across the country to see crap .
I guess that's a difference between us then.
I like to do things I enjoy, and you are a boring old fart.
No. you like to do things you have convinced yourself you enjoy. I could tell you this without even knowing you.
My mamma always said: if people didn't have different tastes, and there were no different colors, the stores wouldn't sell much.
Liote knows I am only pulling her t-t.
Shoot. That is two "I's I left out.
I don't think there is anything I do that I have convinced myself I enjoy, if I don't like something, I know it.

Kids, no fighting!
Speaking of enjoying, I need to do the Wicked lottery soon.
I wish Wicked was still in town.
But there is WAY too much other stuff going on right now. I'll be going to the theater at least twice a week for the next few months. Thank God I live relatively close to Ticket/Ticket. (our answer to TKTS)

DD, hello, what are you seeing? I have Alter Boyz this weekend and I need to get the girls and wife to Bee.
Hiya... tomorrow Evita at Village, Thursday tick, tick... BOOM! My ex is playing Jon, and got a rave in the Seattle Times. Also Rocky Horror on Saturday - midnight show.
Next week, Doubt on either Tuesday or Wednesday, and Company (with Hugh Panaro and Kendra Kassebaum) on Thursday.

What a great line up! Evita and Company are two of my favs.
Never seen either. I was in Evita a couple of years ago, but have never seen it. I'm not a huge fan of the guy playing Che, but I've heard the lady playing Eva is great.

I saw Kathy Voytko do Evita, she is the standby for Stephanie in the Pirate Queen.
Wasn't she doing the recent tour? It never came to Seattle.

Yes, it was the tour almost two years ago.
Wow... was it that long ago? Yikes. Time does fly by...

Shaken, not stirred? Is that the problem. Send a PM if you need advice.
Kathy V was awful in Evita.
Wow, DAME is all about shooting people down and being mean today.
DD- I think you are seeing more shows than I am!
Nope. Just truthful.
