We have every weekend booked solid. The evenings are easier with no home work.
Sounds like a busy summer, brd! Heck, for me too! Camp will be exhausting!
Hope all is well with everyone!
liotte - I was hoping you would be around. I'm going to Chicago tomorrow and hope to try a lottery on Saturday for Spelling Bee or Wicked. Any advice would be helpful. Hope you're having a good time at camp!
Definitely check out the lottos. I think they are both at Borders about 2 hours before the show. (2 different Borders though!). There is info at the theaters about where the lottos are that day. Good luck! Let me know what you think of the shows there!
Thanks Liotte, I definitely will and let you know what I see.

bwayaddict - do you read this thread and know where I live?????????????
Hi L, how is camp???
The brd family is very sad, I do not see our friend surviving his illness. He is a friend of mine, my wife, my kids, my parents, my wife's parents and many of my friends. I pray for him, but I am not optimistic!
Brdlwyr - Yes, I read this thread and I know where you live!!! But I also know you are very busy and haven't been around much the last couple of days. I was in Chicago last weekend also but just for a wedding. This weekend I have more time to play. Do you have any advice to share?
Camp is good, just back from a meeting, time for bed.
In your luxury cabin - I have camp envy.
Yes, but as I only get 6 hours sleep tonight, and tomorrow is all manual labor of moving bags and unpacking kids, I will be dead tired.
Yeah yeah yeah.
But you love it.

Yes she does!
Yes I do, but I am already sick. Hopefully it's just getting it out of the way for the rest of the summer.
Feel better, Liotte!
*yawn*
Well, I'm off to bed. I hope I won't be posting at 5 am like usual!
brdlwyr - Did you see that I responded to your question about knowing where you live. It's on the last page. Is there anything going on in Chicago on Friday or Saturday that would be fun besides the usual of eating and shopping?

Addict, I am sorry, I was just being snippy!
I assume that the lottery Wicked this weekend will be full, but why not? The brd family got tickets a few months ago.
Have you been to Chinatown and Greektown? Oak Park? U of C? Have you seen my Dame tour?
Are you implying that there are other things to do besides eating and shopping?
Well Shira eating and shopping are important, but I'm trying not to gain weight and not spend too much money on shopping so I need some other diversions.lol
Brd - those all sound interesting. What is your DAME tour? We are going to a Chicago White Sox game on Friday. My son lives in Chicago but he is somewhat distracted right now with relationship issues!

Hi, Addict
I hope brd can locate the DAME tour - it looked fabulous - and DAME loved it!
Hey DG - I don't often stay up late enough to enjoy these late night chats. It's hard to change the sleep pattern from during the school year. Yes, the Dame tour sounds interesting.

I haven't been on much at all, much less late at night! But now with the TinMan off at rehearsals - and the school thing DONE - I hopefully will get to play a little more
My only thing about Chicago to really recommend (not the only thing there, by any means - I just LOVE it!) is the Aquarium.
Yes - you know that is a good suggestion for Friday when my husband will be with me. We haven't been to the aquarium since before it was remodeled which was years ago. I think that is a good idea!
Well, bwayaddict...I understand!
Have a great time, doing whatever it is yu choose to do!
The aquarium sounds marvelous (and if DG suggests it, it MUST be fabulous!)
