I would bring a surfboard or a one of those mini boards we used to use when I was a kid.
If nothing else, opt for the cheap raft!

Posted: 6/29/06 at 2:57amAre you kidding? There's nothing better than walking in the summer rain! I love getting wet in a good downpour... as long as it's warm. When we were at the beach, my mom and I went for a walk during one of the big downpours. It was excellent.

DD - walking in the summer rain when I don't have to anywhere else - wonderful.
Walking in the summer rain on the way to work - sucks!
Rain is something I enjoy when I don't have to do anything else but enjoy it.
Home reading a book with a fire going during a big storm with two kitties snuggled up on my knees - a pretty nice evening if I am not involving third party or other kinds of toys!
