I was by the side of it...waiting patiently for LG to finish up her swim class.
M-F, however, I get IN the pool these days.

Saw Dr. Dolittle. Rather enjoyable, cute. Tommy Tune was fine and Dee Hoty sings well. The story is stupid, but the market is kids and families.
Tune signed for C8!

DD, Post or PM the review links! Congrats!
I only recommend Dr. Dolittle to those with kids or who really want to see Tommy Tune. It was a hot day and a nice respite in a cool theatre.
We are having tacos tonight.
C11 is baiting C8 right now and I would like to slap her!

I wish we got reviewed, brd. It's community theater...
Thanks for the well wishes. I hope the matinee (opening) went well.
I'm off to see "An Inconvenient Truth", which just spawned a thread and a very... odd... response.

Sounds like a good time has been had by all, as of late.
I'm running out with LG for dessert, at an AMAZING bakery on the UES.

It has actually cooled down a bit here. I went for a walk for an hour or so and it was not even very warm.
WHHEEEWW.
I don't want to ever open another A/C bill like the one I just received.
Brd - I hope all the C are playing nice.

Hi Y!!!
C8 is asleep. He had a game tomorrow.
I walked the girls to the store for a treat. (We really do live in an urban neighborhood!)
We have A/C units only and I am the AC police, so our bills are less than $150!

I have central air, so it gets expensive - I sometimes consider buying an individual unit for my BR, but I cannot put it in the window (damn Condo rules.)
My electricity bill last month was $180!
That is just crazy - imagine if I had it on all the time!
I hope is game does not take as long as the one today did.

Nope - trying to get rid of some extra unwanted YWIW so just some seltzer with a little bit of pomegranate juice.
Though a glass of Cab does sound nice.
My mom's bill was something close to that. At least I can afford it, as can she. There have been deaths from people either too cheap, or too poor, to afford to turn on their A/C!

Camp is good, lots of fun but very busy!
How is everyone's summer going?

Hot and humid - but I am going up to SF in a couple of weeks and sneaking in a visit to A Chorus Line - which will be great.
Between that, Curtains, and the DRS Tour, it will be a busy August by my standards.
I have friends coming over in about 10 minutes for a play date.
