DAME: I totally misconstrued your tone. Damn internet! So, thank you for the reminder and yes, I definitely agrree that I'm one of the last people in the country to get an ipod. I've always been a bit slow on these things. I didn't have a car with a CD player until 2003. :-P

Shira.. there are a lot of 3rd party places that will put a new battery in there for you for about $50.00. Just google Ipod repair. Hwever.. 3 years is 80 years in the life of a ipod.

Exactly. I know I can get it repaired, which I likely will. But also, I am waiting for the summer, when I can maybe afford to get a new one.

I've been just simply lazy today, reading the newspaper and watching movies.

So I found out that someone knocked off my passanger side mirror of my car this weekend while I've been down here. Joy! We ordered a new one but it won't be here until the end of the week. Why can't people find better past times that knocking off peoples car mirrors and stealing DD's car?

Chita is... fantastic. What a woman. What an inspiration. In my acceptance speech, I will make sure to thank her. There were so many 'moments...' And she is so genuine. Her tribute to Gwen made me cry like a baby.

Hope everyone's night/weekend was as wonderful as mine!

Flying out to BAHSTON tomorrow AM for Bright Lights, Big City at Harvard with some people I work with and flying back Tuesday morning -- tonight was birthday dinner with the fam, got lots of AMAZING clothes.... and found out my Nana is sending my best friend and I to Europe for the summer. I haven't been in years that I remember -- so I'm psyched!
