Slings & Arrows is F*CKing amazing!
And so is San Francisco, by the way - even though I can't seem to get to see Cheeze
Aww, that sucks DG!
You gentlemen (and women) have inspired me to maybe SEE slings and arrows one day. If/When I finish midterms.
Do you mean Don McKellar? He's fabulous!!! The original Aldolpho!!! (Oh, I have new photos to email you!)
Hi, DG! I love San Francisco. We came "this close" to moving there. Caldwell did live there for several years. That's where we got engaged. I have spent A LOT of time in that town. I miss it a lot.
He's the original Adolpho? Wow. He's very funny.
Well... it's time for bed. I must make it to staff meeting in the am.
Have a good night all!
Night. I'm giving myself 'til 3 to try and complete what I can of one of these papers. And then I'll call it a night.

San Francisco truly is a wonderful place to vacation - I LOVE that they haven't bought into the 'Corporate States of America'!!!
BUT, I don't think I could live here - well, in any urban setting, actually. I NEED to be able to 'get away', and that just isn't possible when you're in the middle of it all!
I adore San Francisco. I really do.
Well, I wasn't going to live IN SF, just work there. We figured we would live north of the city, but then I thought long and hard about it and decided I'm just an east coast person and I couldn't live any farther from NYC than I do now. (In addition to New York being my hometown, my sister, brother and other family members are still there. I'm a train ride away, you know?)
But it was tempting. I guess it's good that I turned down the job though...it was with a dot.com!!!

There still seems to be a lot of money being made here. And the restaraunts! And bookstores! And antique stores!
Oh, my
Antique Stores? Oy.

Shira - I'm addicted to dead people's stuff.
The TinMan has called it a night, so I have to stop - the computer is too distracting.
And there's bourbon to be drunk
Night, all.
"Drinks before dinner and wine with dinner and after-dinner drinks...."
Nice. I'm writing a paper on Islam, which allows no intoxication. I'd like to be intoxicated whilst writing the paper, but than it would make less sense that it does already.
It's being sent to my mother in 15 minutes. Maybe she can figure out what I'm trying to say.
Too bad I'm on the East Coast - I've got work in the morning. If I were on the West coast I'd still have a couple more hours to play.
It would be more fun if I could just pick and choose time zones. Alas, my boss is forever stuck on EST, so I have no choice but to comply...
I'd like to pick and choose time zones. C'est La Vie.
I just emailed my mother posing the question: "How can the daughter of a calligrapher be such a terrible writer?"
*yawn*
Off to bed!
Good morning all! Back in the very cold state of NJ. Plane got delayed 1 & 1/2 hours last night and didn't land until midnight. Not to mention I landed in 40 mph winds, so it was a very interesting expereience!!!
Miss P - I'm working on S&A =)
Welcome back, Tink!
How is it only Tuesday? Life seems to be dragging nowadays!
Thanks L! How did everything go with your baking project?
I have my first singing lesson tonight and I am so nervous/scared, lol!

Singing lessons? Excellent. I have not had a lesson in years, but I sing regularly. It is the one talent that I have.
L, yes the week is dragging. I really need a week away from this work.
I have no talent that I know of so this is going to be an interesting few weeks.
I really need to get off my lazy butt and start looking for a new job! This place annoys me so!
I don't sing. End of story.
Baking was fine, had a lot of kids in the kitchen, so it got very messy! Hamentashen were good.
I forgot that I go to Vegas in a few weeks, that trip is creeping up on me!
Trips tend to do that. They seem so far away and then all of a sudden *wham* there they are! Vegas sounds so enticing!
Made it to staff meeting. I could get used to going to be early, and not dragging in the morning. What a concept.
I was only in SF once, had a huge argument with my ex right before we left, and we were grumpy with each other the entire time we were there. Can't say that I enjoyed the city. Will have to revisit under better circumstances.
