Bring 'em on!!!!!!
Tomorrow I have a 15-20 minute performance for one of my classes on expressionism, a computer based midterm to take in the proctored testing lab over set design, and a Spanish midterm tomorrow which I am nowhere near ready for because of issues beyond my control. Once tomorrow is over though, I will have made it through all my midterms. Unfortunately, I still have to defend our implementation of expressionistic elements fromour Wednesday performance to our class and our professor on Friday. This professor is really good, but he is also really good at finding holes in your arguments.
I am pulling an all nighter as it is the only way to be prepared as best I can be for everything. Why did I give up caffeine for lent!!!!!!!!!!!
I didn't get any PMs
Good luck with that, SOAG! I can't do all nighters anymore, too old for that!

That's my problem, too.
This doesn't look to be an ALL nighter. I may still be able to squeeze in 6 hours of sleep.
So funny story. I was going to go into the theatre tonight to rehearse a scene for a class and the door was locked when it was supposd to be open. I get the bright idea to go see if the lift for people who can't use the stairs due to disability is open because it was the next closest entrance to try. So the girl I am rehearsing with and I go in this three foot by three foot lift to see if we can get up into the theatre by using it.
Now I've had many experiences with these type of lifts before but never this particular one. Because of this I should have known to not even think about stepping in it when they really should be reserved only for people who actually need it. I fail to notice the sign outside the door saying authorized use only and we get inside the lift and try pushing the button. It doesn't do anything then I think to myself "Duh, it is key operated. I should know better."
We go to open the door and it is locked. It let us get in, but not out. We can't open it from the inside. We are stuck. We try our cell phones. No reception.
Luckily some fellow group members walked by fairly quickly and we shouted to them. I have a feeling I am never going to live it down. I have already given my other group members permission to give me hell about it until I graduate. Sometimes you just do really stupid things.
I havea funny story. Wait, no I don't. No...sorry. I'm stuck in 6th century Islam. My head is gone. Spinning away.
*yawn*
Just finished doing some freelance work.
Off to bed!
That's a pretty funny story, gunn. I would never let you live it down either. And I would give you grief even AFTER you graduate.
You spin me right round Islam right round.
Like a record Islam right round round round!
Thank you SOAG. That is excellent.
Good morning all! It was another lovely drive down Rt 80 in the snow. People are sooo stupid, but besides that, it's a lovely morning.
PM's??? I don't have any PM's! I see where the love stops in this mojito family. I'm the bastard child, AGAIN! =)

Gun, funny story.
I really need an attitude adjustment. I just did not want to come to the office today. And, the mouse secretary is out sick today.
alcohol is always a great attitude adjuster...but that would probably be frowned upon while at work.

No, I never drink while working. I will not even have a glass of wine at a business lunch. I drink AFTER work.

Good morning, everybody. Off to rehearsal in a couple of hours. Hope everyone's doing well!
I only drink at work at holiday parties.
And, Erika - looking forward to seeing you.
It is still so odd that I used to work at that theater when I was a kid, before it was converted from a movie theater to a live house.
(It actually was a single, beautiful house when I was a small child, then converted to an ugly multiplex that was less that top rate when I worked there!).
Beautiful day here in LA.
Off to work.

We have only one office party, but it is offsite and the office is closed after the party.
One of my partners is known to have a late "lunch" on a Friday and return to the office. SO INAPPROPRIATE!

YWIW: Me, too! (Looking forward to seeng you, that is.) That is kind of wacky that you used to work there... It's a very nice space, now. Have you seen any productions there yet?
At least that is better than going to court!
I personally have never drank alcohol during the work day, but I also rarely leave the office for lunch. The one out of office holiday party we had I got blitzed though, lol! A few of the executives may have a glass of something at a lunch, but rarely do they come back in a condition that you would have even known. But I agree, highly unprofessional.
Hey there Erika & YWIW! Hope all is well! How is the mouth doing Erika? Everyhting healing ok?

Tink: Hi! Thanks for asking...it's doing OK, but I had to invest in a "water-pik" type device, 'cause I just keep getting food stuck back there (sorry if I grossed anybody out). It's very annoying. Hopefully it'll all close up eventually.
Erika - been there, done that, lol! It'll heal up perfect before you even realize! Just don't eat any potato chips or anything that can possibly dagger itself in there, that's a real pain in the rear.

"dagger itself in there"
Hehe...that made me giggle. Good advice. I've been trying to be careful.
Well... we drink at lunch on occassion. No... not get sloppy drunk, but if it's a Friday and the day will be slow, we'll have a beer at lunch, or even *gasp* a Saketini.
DD - you rebel!
I only drink at lunch if I'm out with my boss and she drinks.
