I am seeing some guy named Eddie Vedder sing on Saturday.
Pearl Jam - together with Nirvana - set the tone for 90s music with the Seattle grunge.
DD -Yes, when flannel overtook the city! My Seattle band is Queensryche.
I never got into Pearl Jam/Eddie Vedder. I like "Jeremy" but other than that he annoyed me. I was loyal to Nirvana. Those were the days.
So L - Do you like the red hair?
Even I know who Eddie Vedder is!
Well, usually Pearl Jam is not the kind of music I listen to!
I need a little while to get used to the red hair. It's not like, fire engine red or Shira red, it's just not brown anymore.
Good morning hussys. Gorgeous day here in Los Angeles. Lots of people in shorts.
Morning DAME!
Looks nice out in NYC, besides the fact that it is only 27 (and feels like 16!)
BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.. Honey.. I love NYC.. but in the winter.. YOU CAN HAVE IT.

We are supposed to see 60 degrees later in the week.
I am sick of the winter.
I always say I am going to move away from being blonde for the first time in my life, but always chicken out and never do it. One day!
Yes, it is quite cold out right now, it's times like these that I am so grateful I finally quit smoking.
I don't smoke and never have and my lungs still hurt from the cold, dry air!
Liotte -- Shira RED? Honestly.
Off to class. It's mighty cold out, and I almost don't want to go to class. But I will brave the snow-showered streets and winds.
The one thing I hated ( among others) about the winter in NY is every time I went to press a elevator or touch a doorknob.. I would get these static shocks.
DAME - I get that too, but it's only with our SUV. Never fails that whenever I touch the door or window I get a horrid shock. No one else has this happen, just me.
Try putting fabric softner or one of those static free sheets in your dryer next time you do laundry. It is suppose to help.
I do that already, still doesn't help. I guess I'm just a "shocking" person, or I "electrify" any situation, or....nevermind I'll quit while I'm ahead.
It doesn't really help. You are right. I used to get some huge shocks.
I used to think it was my because of my winter gloves, but no it still happened when I didn't wear them. Maybe I have a super hero power that just needs to be nurtured....am I NBC's next Hero?
As you can tell I'm in a very odd and wacky mood today and I have no idea why. I actually have been nice to my boss all day so far, and that NEVER happens!
Good morning... we had one helluva storm come in last night... woke me up at 4 am.
I love storms.
Hi there DD!
I'm ok with storms as long as I am not home alone.
I love them, especially thunderstorms.
Except for windstorms. Windstorms scare the beejezus out of me... my house rocks like it's about to be broken to pieces. And we had our share of windstorms this year.

We have been praying for a good hail storm to destroy the roof and let the insurance pay for a new roof. We need to replace the roof this Spring. Yikes $$$$$$
