I got all excited because I got an offer from Pizza Hut that I could get a free "Chocolate" phone, but alas, it's for NEW customers only.

haha, well I was doing PR, then I went over to head up the motorsports sponsorship program. When that ended, I got laid off. Almost 6 months later (nice vacation), they called to offer me a marketing or an ops position, I got on my high horse and chose Ops. So now I'm known as the marketing snob, lol!

haha, yeah! I used to have a sign on my office door saying "no creative types allowed" but it got vandalzied, lol!

Wow.
I will have been with the company I'm at for 7 years in May. I was notorious for 2-year gigs... this is very strange. Now I can't wait to get to 10 years so I can have my 30-day sabbatical.

It's more shocking to me with how many times I was convinced the company was going to close, or that I was "fed up" and leaving, lol! And here I am. But I'm now a manager and have my own office, and almost doubled my starting pay rate, so I really can't complain for my first "long-term" job.
But I do agree, 4 years is nothing in comparison to many people.
