The cast don't (doesn't?) even have their contracts signed yet, and they won't know ticket situations til they are out there. So I don't want to wait til the day before to make sure that I have tickets!!!
I actually kind of enjoyed the revival. It was a sweetly done production - nothing major, obviously. Jill Clayburgh was hysterical, and I liked the two leads (many people seemed to have problems with her.) Probably wasn't necessary to do a Broadway revival, but I've spent time sitting through FAR worse. And it's still pretty funny
I'm very happy. I just arranged to buy a gorgeous painting we saw up in Mendocino. It's like it was painted specifically to go in our 're-imagined' dining room. It will be a FABULOUS anniversary gift for us. I just hope it gets here by Wednesday!
Actually, I was just looking to see if I could find a promotion code I thought I had at home - but if I cannot find it today, I will just order it tomorrow.
DG - PM me with your seat locations - just so I can be in the ballpark. It is not a very large theater, and there is actually a seat we bought in my dad's name there (Row L I think).
Shira - it's for Erika's upcoming show at the Kirk Douglas - SLEEPING BEAUTY AWAKES, or something like that. It's a co-production with Deaf West Theatre (whom I LOVE!)
