Miss P - I haven't had the pleasure of actually getting to know her well, but I have met her in a social setting, and I absolutely agree. Elegant and EXTREMELY intelligent - you don't survive in the business as long and successfully as she has by accident
Ditzness is an art form.
DG, you are the first person I have ever known (besides myself, of course!) who has any real-life experience with Charo. Your words are so reaffirming!!!
I'm off to bed. Running a small fever
Have a safe trip tomorrow, Miss P.

Shira - we were probably exposed to the same 'bug' - damned Abbey
Miss P - it is funny how private she's been able to be. Confirmation again that you don't have to deal with the insanity unless you want to! And I agree, it can be very affirming to realize you're not the only one
Thanks, Shira!
This was such a great visit. So glad I'll be back in 2 weeks!!!
Good night.
Welcome, Miss P. And get your tush back here. I owe you a drink.
DG -- The Abbey was worth it. I don't feel that 'sick', just kind of blah.
I'm thinking of seeing Les Miz tomorrow -- could be fun!

Just popping back in to blush a bit at the lovely things DG said, and also to agree about Charo. One of my best friends was one of Charo's dancers in her Vegas show and really liked her. (And the show was really fun...her Flamenco guitar playing is AMAZING!)
I can't wait for the chance to see Erika on stage! You should get a show in Seattle - or I should come visit LA when you're in a show.
*raises hand* Also a fan of Charo. I heard somewhere that her guitar playing talent is quite unique... doesn't she have a PhD or something?
Erika, yes! Come to NYC and get on a stage!!
Good morning!! I see the mojitans came alive last night, that's good to see!
Miss P, how long are you up for in two weeks? Just for Legally Blonde or longer?
Shira - You owe Miss P a drink, I owe you a drink - who completes the circle and owes me a drink? =)
Getting nervous about the interview this evening, yikes!
Tink, I must have missed what the interview was for??
A new job, well hopefully. I got the call when I got home last night, and we scheduled the first interview for this evening. A nice raise in pay, but semi-demotion in title, but hey, I'll survive! =)
Pay v Title? Take the money.
Well, my class was cancelled today. I have such a schedule, I don't know what to do with myself when things change!

Gee, Shira, it's a shame you're in NYC where there's nothing to do
Yeah. I'm not in a museum mood....
What do I do?

Shira - PLEASE tell me you're joking?!?
DG, "Koochie Koochie!"
I should be joking. I really should.
I...*buries head*
Help?
Watch the Sopranos - go to the park - I don't know.
I have this strange feeling something weird is going on at work. The last two times I had this feeling, there were lay offs. My boss won't look me in the eye, which is the most suspicious thing. Hmmm, wouldn't it be ironic if I go to my intereview tonight saying well I was just laid off a few hours ago.....
LOL. I returned all my netflix yesterday.
Tink...Oooh, that's not so great.
You could feel adventurous and travel to NJ and pick up "All That Jazz" which is sitting in it's NETFLIX envelope on the table because I forgot to grab it when I left this morning!
I could, but I promised DD I would watch it with him.

Ok, Shira, I'll say it outloud - start by GETTING OFF THE COMPUTER! You are sitting in one of the biggest nests of human culture and activity on the planet!
Go to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens.
Go to Central Park.
Go to the Village.
Go anywhere.
