I will have a good day when the clock syas 4:45
When it says "3:15", life will be good.
What will be happening at 3:15?
My class will be over. And the weekend will begin!
Woohoo!!! Technically me weekend begins at 4:45, but since i have an interview in the AM, I guess I should watch how much I drink this evening, boo!
Haha. Very good idea, Tink.
Showing the cleavage from the night before while being hunover does not good interview protocol make.
But it'd make for some good stories, lol!
And that's what life is made out of.
The kid I was supposed to tutor tonight just cancelled. Now what to do?
People who live in and around NYC are not allowed to ask "what to do?" lol!!!! =) See a show? Read a book? Watch a movie? Pick up strange men??
I don't want to see a show. May try for SRO for Curtains tomorrow night, now that it is opening today. There is a new book I want to read, waiting for my friend to finish it so I can borrow it, cuz it is still in hardback and those are more expensive than seeing a show!
Good point on the book, they really are way too expensive! I just finished my latest one, and I have 4 to decide between as what is going to be next. I hate decisions.
There is a booksale stand by my work on Thursdays during the fall and spring, I hope they start back up today! Or soon! They have the new releases in hardcover for $5. I buy way too many but I do love to read. Gets me off the damn computer.
I love going to the park with a book & cup of tea in the spring time. And if I can't make it to the park, then just outside onto our deck.

One word, ladies - library.
I think every library in the country has a picture of me on their most wanted list! lol. I am soooooo bad with libraries and returning things. I like to read at my own pace. Sometime I'll 4 books in a week, and then it'll take me 2 months to finish another one.
I don't like libraries. I like building my own collection, as I tend to reread books a lot.
And I love reading a book in the park (or on the roof!!) during the summer!
I just got an e-mail for a 6-month contract job position in Times Square. I wonder if Buzz would be mad that he didn't see me for 6 months, as I'd be at shows and stuff all the time after work? lol!
I know I could have a very sucessful career if I ventured out to work in NYC, but I just don't think it would work in the long run. I hate my 20 minute car ride commute right now, let alone a bus/train/path each morning/night to NYC.
I hear that, I don't know how millions of people do it everyday. I don't even like going crosstown to get to work, and I can do that on foot in 40 mins!
I mean I have to deal with the annoyance for possible traffic now, but I know the areas and can always take a various route if I want. If I need to run home for an emergency, I can do it. I can't think of relying on PT. I mean if the train is an hour or so late, you don't have many other options, and I need my damn options, lol! People say it's because I'm spoiled, but I dunno.
I totally understand. So this just means you should move into the city! You've got a couple extra million dollars laying around, right?
Not in these jeans pockets, but let me check in Buzz's at home, lol! =) I don't think I could live there either. I love my suburbs. But I can't see myself moving from my current area either. It is very NYC accessible (non rush hour times of course). I like walking out my door and seeing the NYC skyline, but not have to deal with it if I don't want too!
Can you see my building from where you are?
