Are you in the witness protection program?
And you can't tell it's you unless you let us know.
your right DD. I just hate lying. I wish I could have just said I dropped the phone in the toilet. But then they wouldn't replace it. They would just say tough.
DD - sounds like a plan!!!
White lies, DAME. We all say them.
tink - what I recommend is for you to now read "All His Jazz," then re-watch the movie. You'll be blown away.
My fear is that they will recieve my old phone and see where the damage really was and then charge for the price of the new phone. Am I thinking this to much?
If they say "oh, water damage" tell them you were in a rainstorm.
I tried that with my phone last week when it broke. Still cannot check email on my phone, and it's pissing me off.
Sorry 'bout that, Liotte!
Liotte; I s the phone still under warranty?
The phone itself is fine. It's my email account that is now screwed up.
I need a new phone. At some point. Don't need email on it, just a phone with txting, and ok... I am now into getting a phone that plays music.
DD - I went and put that book on my amazon wish list. And to make you even more proud of me, S&A season 1 disc 1 came in the mail today!
Slings & Arrows
Oh. Ok. (don't know what that is).
Going hot tubbing.
TV series
From amazon.com - Plot Synopsis: In the fictional town of New Burbage, legendary theatrical madman Geoffrey Tennant returns to the New Burbage Theatre Festival, the site of his greatest triumph and most humiliating failure, to assume the artistic directorship after the sudden death of his mentor, Oliver Welles. When Geoffrey arrives he finds that Oliver is still there, in spirit anyway, and with his guidance (and often in spite of it) Geoffrey attempts to reconcile with his past while wrestling the festival back from the marketing department. Despite a bitter leading lady, a clueless leading man, and a scheming general manager, he manages to stage a remarkable production of Hamlet -- the play that drove him mad.
Which sounds cool...I like the plot.
Ok, never made it back out. TNT had "A Time to Kill" on, that movie gets me every time!! We are supposed to finally go eat dinner, but now they are playing "Along Came A Spider". Movies of my two favorite authors! What a night!
I did laps in the pool, and read 7 chapters of my book while in the hot tub. I was the only person in there (except the lifeguard), it was so quiet and peaceful and relaxing. Ahhh.
L, are you telling me there's a PROBLEM with our phone now??????
Yeah, cuz I dropped it in the hot tub last week.
Yikes!
My friend ran hers through the wash cycle once and it was on the fritz for a few days, but once it completely dried out, it was perfectly fine.
Of course that was before phones could do EVERYTHING!!!!
Okay -- so I've left money, gum, lighters, change, bobby pins...everything in my pockets in the wash.
But a PHONE?
It didn't really fall in the hot tub, just got splashed. It was fine once it dried out. I am still having email problems though, which is AOL's fault.
Shira, you have no idea what it is like to have to multi-task while your kids are making demands of you and your husband is a louse. (My friend's, not mine.) She's a very smart and well-organized woman (which is why the whole thing was so amusing), but when you have BIG distractions, it is easy to do things like this.
