I LOVE Nothing Like A Dame...I might splurge and get a ticket!
What do you think of the photos, Brd????
I have my ticket for it!
And wow, $12 a night?? Even $17 a night, that's crazy cheap!!
For an extra $5, I would definitely take the midtown. But that's just me.

MP, I will view them tomorrow at the office. I do not have that account set up on this new laptop.
It just freaks me out that there is a bed available anywhere for $12.
It's not anywhere that I'D wanna sleep. It's like being in a dorm, sorta.
I'd also do the UWS one.
Another option- on Craigslist, people rent out rooms for individual nights and weekends, you can find some cheap and nicer (and more private) places on there.
L, let me know about LB ASAP. OK?
Must go to sleep now. Nose if running. Feel sorry for me, please, I beg of you.

I only sleep in my house, hotels, family houses, or sometimes at my very dear and long standing friend's houses.
Miss P, I am waiting to hear myself! I will tell you as soon as I hear anything!
Brd, I hear that, though I have stayed in hostels and have no problems with it.
I've stayed in hostels on occasion -- but I'm a diva and like a private room. I use hostelworld.com, and they tend to be accurate in terms of rates and quality.
But 128th/Lenox? Are you aware that that is Central Harlem?
Basically all you get is a bed. But I spend my summers in dirty cabins sleeping on old prison beds so it is almost an upgrade for me.
I'll probably opt for the Upper West Side based on everyone's advice. It is still ridiculously cheap. I think this must be their off season because the rates weren't this low the last few times I've looked.
Summer camp cabin at its worst.
Ahh, camp!!
Things do not look like that at my camp! Much fancier!

Oh my, how old am I?

"Oh my, how old am I?"
Not as old as I am, which you tend to remind me. Often
I'm working with school age kids now who were born in 2000. It makes me feel old. Also just chaperoned a lock in and realized how out of touch I am with what is cool for high school kids. But posting on BWW puts it all in perspective. Even if people do mistakenly think I've been out of college for several years.

Amazing how things can get put in perspective.
And, btw, it's pretty interesting - and may I say, wonderful - to see Son posting so much, and in a 'community' thread.
Good morning all! It's freakin cold!! I thought it was supposed to start getting warmer, grrr!
I finally had a good time at pool leagues last night. An old team mate I haven't seen in probably 3 years popped in out of no where. So I was at the bar with him all night laughing and drinking my ass off, lol! Not in as bad of a condition today as I thought I would, but still have some aftershock.
What's everyone doing this weekend?
Getting over my cold, I hope.
ATCHOO.
**Passes Miss P. a tissue and a bowl of chicken soup**
That was me last weekend, good luck!
Mo, is it DD's chicken soup using his mother's recipe? Because that's the only chicken soup I'll eat. And that's final.
I flew to WA in the middle of the night, stole it from DD's fridge and delivered it, I swear!
Thanks, Mo. You are a true pal. I just hope DD doesn't need any when he wakes up.
