I have a bunch on my netflix queue too -- but I don't like watching them on my own.
Anyone care to have movie nights in Queens? I have room, I'll pick up some comfy chairs or we can hang on my bed, and I have popcorn.
Or, we can go to someone who has an apartment larger than a 2x4. Still.
I have a large apt. You are welcome to come to my apt for movie night.

"It's SHOWTIME, folks!"
Oh trust me, DG, I am working on Marsden!
Do I hear a request....

To paraphrase:
I look at Hugh and say, "How the hell did you do that, and why can't I do that?!?"
BONJOURNO PRINCIPESSA!
May I reccomend "La Vita e Bella" (Life is beautiful). One of my favorite movies of all time. If you watch it, watch it with English subtitles. Don't do the bad english dubbing.
Why thank you, SOAG.
And DD -- I just took a look at JetBlue...you might be due for a visit
I'm always up for a movie night if anyone wants to come to Jersey (except L, we already know her feelins about NJ, lol)! I have a nice sized apartment with a 52" TV and wonderful sound system!
That's all you say about Hugh, DG? I'm disappointed!
gun...
I always greet my niece with "Buongiorno Principessa."
Oh DG... you mean "do" as in "do" and not create, eh?
*sets up the futon*
I'm waiting!

DD -
Tink - I was paraphrasing a quote from ALL THAT JAZZ - and believe me, from my perspective, putting Hugh and ALL THAT JAZZ together is about as good as it gets!!!
Okay. I get it. I'm putting "ALL THAT JAZZ" on my netflix,
Tink, the full quote (for your understanding)
"Nothing I ever do is good enough. Not beautiful enough, it's not funny enough, it's not deep enough, it's not anything enough. Now, when I see a rose, that's perfect. I mean, that's perfect. I want to look up to God and say, "How the hell did you do that? And why the hell can't I do that?"
And my favorite quote of the movie:
"I can't make you a great dancer. I don't even know if I can make you a good dancer. But, if you keep trying and don't quit, I know I can make you a better dancer. I'd like very much to do that."
Ok. I must watch it tonight.
Shira - I have an open door policy! As long as the blinds on the door are open come on over!
Ahhh, ok, DG, I am no longer disappointed then.

DD - you and I could DO the entire movie!
Shira: top of the cue?
In the interest of full disclosure, I will fully admit to having seen ATJ close to 100 times, if not more. I'm not kidding.

DD, that is a little freaky. I have seen Guffman probably 30 times.
DD? I don't understand!
Tink -- you may have a deal

Proud to be a little freaky right alongside DD - I lost count YEARS ago!
Oh, my. Boys and their movies. It's crazy, I tell ya.
I get to be Joe Gideon! And u/s Kate.
And Autumn. *sigh*
Shira... when you see it you will. I always find something new in it that I either forgot or just made sense of.
edit: put it at the top of the netflix cue. As in next.

And since DD shared his favorite quote, here's mine
"If I die, I'm sorry for all the things I did to you, and if I live, I'm sorry for all the things I'm gonna do to YOU." (said to his ex-wife and current girlfriend as he's being wheeled in to have open-heart surgery.)
