Skiing on Sunday is out. Sometimes it's just not in the cards...
It's supposed to snow HERE on Sunday, DD!
It's been snowing in the mountaints and north of Seattle. I can deal with no more snow on the lowlands... especially now that I don't have my car.
You can have our snow!!!!
Just make sure it's dumped above the 2,000' level.
You got it, babe!
You take such good care of me.
Well, you did make me your mother's chicken soup. It's the LEAST I can do.
HUG!
*looks at watch*
I hate waiting.
But "waiting" is better than "rushing"!
Yeah... but I'm ok when you're 5, 10 minutes late. But 1/2 hour? Lost major brownie points.

Hi guys, well "maybe" turned into "tomorrow".
I am listening to this new Company recording. The voices are just gorgeous. I am not yet a realy Raul fan, we will see.
His eeeeee at the end of the word "company" is just freaky.
Hey brd! I have that on my amazon wish list. *sigh* My current amazon package did not get here yet, boo!
Miss P - I stole DD's mother's chicken soup for you, does that count?

I have owned the Company casette tape, LP and now the MP3. (Skipped the CD)
MT, what are you up to? I have to clean up. We were all very late with games and just finished dinner. We have a guest dog. The little terrier is so excited to have a friend over.
awww, your doggie is having a sleepover? How cute!
I don't know much about Company but I am planning on learning. I don't know much about Raul either except that he is part of the Chess Concert cast which I adore!
Nothing much here. We just went to our diner, had dinner/dessert and played Rummy 500 all night. It's the simple things that please us, lol!

Chess is one of my favorites and I have never seen it. It was produced in Chicago only once and as an idiot I missed it.
I agree. I had never heard of it then I found a video on you know where of Adam singing Pity the Child. It was all over from there. I listen to the recording from the benefit ALL the time. I am so confused (esp after the whole thread there was on it) on which actual recording to get (london, broadway, etc.) so I can hear the actual show. When I last saw Adam he was asked if he Chess would be one of the shows he'd come back to broadway to do and he said yes, and that made me happy!

My first choice for revival is Pippin. I played that role many times. I have heard Arden's benefit version, excellent.
I would love to see Adam play the American in Chess.
I would go to see Adam read the phone book but that's besides the point, lol! =)
I don't know anything about Pippin, I will have to put that on my list to research.
Mo, even though I think stealing is wrong, when you do it to keep another human being from suffering, it's okay. Hmmm. Perhaps this can be turned into a big sweeping musical. We can call it "Les Miss."
lol, Miss P., how do you come up with this stuff? =)

Hi MP!
MT, search for the Pippin benefit concert from a few years ago.
I have news for you, Mo. You're the only one who thinks I'm funny!
Well at least that makes me special!
Brd - I will do that!
Hi, Brd!
We're thinking--seriously--about going to London for a week this summer. I think I need to start a thread asking for recommendations. The only one I found when I searched was for "cheap london hotels." (Like there's anything cheap there!)
Any suggestions?
