Driving back from Philly in this ice/snow/sleet storm was not fun. Finally back in NYC, good weekend.

Nice for you! Do you work tomorow?
Yup, my kids and teaching. Unless it is a snow day.
What's it doing in NYC now?
Seems to have slowed for now.
Great Oscars show. Great Oscars party. Great food. great drinks.. and I am sure Great hangover on its way.
Good Morning! Happy would-be snow day! We probably accumulated about 3 - 4 inches by me. Roads weren't too bad this morning, can't really complain, except having to shovel my car out.
I still have to figure out how I am getting to the airport on Friday, hmmmmm.
Morning. Yeah, doesn't look like anyone will call the snow day.
7 people have called out so far this morning....blah!

I just do not understand why the Oscars are so long. Even the opening segment was annoyingly long.
Brd, there are enough Oscar threads on the OT board, go talk about it in ones of those!

Snarky for a monday morning.
I am really in a bad mood this morning. I'm just going to not post because I don't want to piss people off.

Well, I simply do not want to work here today.
What is wrong?
Pretty flowers to make L feel better
I would be interested to know what my fellow Mojitians thought about the Oscars show last night? I personally really enjoyed them.

I am equally grumpy. I was reviewing this month's income production and the old men are simply not pulling their weight.
I am grumpy too. Butit is due to those Mandarin tonics last night.

DAME, was your regular Oscar crew over?
DAME... I thought it was one of the most boring Oscar shows, but at the same time there were some great highlights... LOVED Pilobulus, Jennifer Hudson's win and the last few awards. And I really thought Ellen did a fantastic job.
Yep. One of them is still collapsed in our guest room.

DD, my wife said the same thing, and my god could they do it in three hours???
All those meaningless pats in the back... c'mon! I didn't need such a long salute to writers PLUS a salute to America in cinema. Did we really need both?
