I care, Brendan. I care.
And I saw the poster in the theatre last night for the first time. Why they made the first one is beyond me. The two hours I spent in the theatre watching the 2nd (well, I AM a glutton for punishment) are two hours I STILL regret losing. And now, the revelation that a third film is being relased is simple proof that the liberal media is just a myth. This is MOST definitely proof that the current US Administration participates in torture.

The first one was a load of rubbish, but I loved it. The second one was no worse than the first. So I say bring on the malfunctioning roller coaster!

I can't wait (the only thing that could be better would be giant apes that fall in love with gay cowboys). These two movies are my most anticipated.

NARNIA was sold out today, and Toronto is still awaiting the gay cowboys, so I saw MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA. I'll post my review next week.

Why? It's not like it's the same film scene-for-scene. Many movies have been adapted from the same source (ie. VALMONT and DANGEROUS LIAISONS) and are almost exact in content, yet both would still be eligible.

Remaking movies isn't a threat to originality (and, apparently from the reviews, KING KONG is brewing with originality, with many critics using the words "new" and "fresh"). Making uninteresting, middle-of-the-road movies is the real threat.

Morgan and Wong are back doing the 3rd installment, so it hopefully won't be anywhere as near god awful as the 2nd installment

i think for king kong we have consider the time span elapsed. as far as pride and predujdice and narina, i have already seen both in my life and they already have their place. i dont need another version. and i will not pay to see another one.
