Anyone else having that feeling of utter confusion and tiredness and just wanna go give their Mother a hug? I went and watched the trailer for Angels in America online and I am feeling better. Updated On: 1/22/05 at 01:15 AM
I am in utter confusion and tiredness every goddamn day of my life. Let me tell ya, I only have less than a year left, but I'm not ready to turn thirty.
I work for the boss from hell & would give my right arm to be able to tell him to stick his job where the sun doesn't shine
I have to make a yeoman attempt to get tomorrows Sunday Times for their alledged monster job section. Lately you could print it on a piece of confetti with room left over. My age ( 5
is against me I know but I have to try

I've been feeling that way all week. Considered dropping out of university, then realized that will not get me any further ahead in life and I might as well just suck it up and stick it out. I would give anything right now to go back home, I'm going next weekend....trying to hold on!
Me!
But maybe my headache is brought to me by my friends, the russians, who introduced the letters V, O, D, K and A to my life...
And sambucca...
And midori...
And beer...
And baileys...
And butterscotch schnapps...
Confusion? That might as well be my middle name. I hate being a college student. People think you're supposed to know exactly what you want to do with your life. HA! When you have a short but reoccuring attention span, you can already see the mound of student loans pile up.
That said, I now have the headache.
sweetiedarlinmia, yes! Exactly! Thank you!
Paradox- That was exactly how I spent last night.

Only every minute I'm awake....I don't know what the hell I want to do with my life right now, and I wish people would stop forcing me to do something with it. I'm used to taking care of others, not myself.
yes! definitely...

LOVE
THAT
TRAILER
The score, the clips.
That is one of my all-time favorite movies. And not just because it is how I "found" Patrick Wilson. It is an awesome awesome production.

This is a very real subject. I just had this discussion with my 20 yr. old son, who is my heart.
And it's no consolation to know that there are many people 30,40,50,60 + who look back on their lives and wonder what they would have done differently. They don't know what...or how they would have done it, but they too are not content with their present situation.
All I can say about this is, take a good look around you, not so much at those who impress the impressionable, or those who appear to have "made it" or appear to be happy....but the handful of people that you have known personally. Those whom others love to be around, you know , the real people that affect others lives by being honest and caring. We all know them. They make us feel good. Seek them out and find out what makes them happy and endears them to others.
Take a visit to a hospital or get involved in a worthwhile charity or project to help others. Or just take some time to be a good friend to someone who really needs one. True, this may do little to help you feel good today or tomorrow or decide where you are heading...but it will fill your mind with good thoughts and your time with good deeds. Eventually people find their way.
If you are young, you have your whole life in front of you. Make time to find out what's best for you. You'll know it when it happens. Don't rush it, fear it or envy it. If you're 30,40,50+ ...find those people who really lift your spirits and those who don't won't seem so bothersome anymore. There's always a better place than where you are. Find it!
OK....if that doesn't work...there's always a Hershey bar waiting for you!
PB ENT that was such a cool response from you!
it put a big smile on my face!
and speaking for myself, who happens to be in his 30s, i sometimes feel the same way so i emphasize with you guys.
PB ENT Thanks for that! It made me feel a lot better about my confusion. Maybe there is a light at the end of the tunnel after all!

Gee, let's see. I have to plan my next two years of college and decide on a fourth class for this semester in the next few days. I've spent all day doing reading and homework for history, music, statistics, and constitutional law. And I just found out that due to snow, dining services is closed, which means that I just ate a bowl of Cinammon Toast Crunch for dinner.
Yes, I have a headache.

They can actually do this? And then expect you to go out and buy your own food, even though you pay tuition, etc? Crazy.
