Thanks. Decided to try to enjoy a few minutes today... and this is the place to do it! (But, thank you for your nice messages. I truly appreciate it.)
Great tickets, liotte!

Hi, Addy - glad you're taking a 'mental break'. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow
LOL - brd. Not Christmas! (I cannot think about that holiday yet!)
Thanks DG. I decided a visit to BWW might help a bit.
I need to get a few tickets to the new shows, too, liotte.
I've been enjoying Jacques Brel (lol - in case you hadn't noticed my posts!), and I have tickets for Three Days of Rain, which I'm looking forward to. I'll be at the beacon-fest for Barefoot, and have my Roundabout Threepenny Opera tickets coming up... I need to check into some of the other shows.
For Addy,
L - I can't wait to hear what you think of the Wedding Singer.
I'm not sure yet if I want to see Barefoot, as it's a play and that's not my thing. And it doesn't sound like I will enjoy Jacques or Three Penny Opera. I will check into SRO or rush for 3 days of Rain, but will be going just to see Julia Roberts and Co.
Thank you, DD. It looks like exactly what the doctor ordered.
I forgot what I was supposed to do this evening... I'm afraid I'm standing someone up tonight. *sigh* I rented Pippin...

I have missed so many shows, but I told my wife that we will not miss a Pippin revival!
I saw Jac Brel so long ago, I just do not remember it.

Hi to everyone else
Addy - who all is going to be there to protect Mr. Wilson?

Just for the record I did not ready DD's post before I posted!!!
I would like to see Pippin.
I was able to get to the Pippin benefit concert last year. I loved it! That was one of my favorite shows... way back when. (Still is!) I have a DVD of it - but not the original Broadway cast. Still, it's fun to see....
DG, I believe Undi, Cookie and I will all be there for the beacon-fest, er, protection... Not sure who else.
brd - cue the Twilight Zone music...

The Greatest American Hero Pippin - he is pretty good.

I still say that, if they take it all the way to Broadway, they need to use Michael Arden - he makes you believe in the journey!
Addy - glad you'll all be there for support - of him, of her AND each other
I think I will come to the stage door just to witness what happens that day...
All the talk of Pippin recently made me want to rent it tonight.
So the guy playing Pippin on the dvd wasn't Pippin on B'way?
No. I saw John Rubenstein on Broadway. The guy on the DVD is the Greatest American Hero guy.
Michael Arden was GREAT in the benefit concert.

Addy, I only saw a clip here on BWW and that young man sounded awesome!!!!
I thought he looked familiar... I'm so clueless sometimes.
Here you go, Lady Bird Johnson... erm, I mean, DG...

Michael did the Reprise run out here, and he was wonderful - full of earnest innocence, and that beautiful voice. I got to chat with him and Mr. Schwartz later on at the ASCAP workshop, and they both seemed very pleased with the project - and were already then talking about future potential.
