It's definitely a project with future potential.
I mentioned earlier, Addy, that Stephen Schwartz is going to be in Seattle for the upcoming production, and they are re-writing the show and taking it on a new direction... sort of a pre- pre-Broadway run. A friend in it says they're approaching it more or less like a workshop.
For some reason, I think the reading I am going to on Monday may have music by Schwartz, but I could be totally making that up.
DD, that is very cool! I wonder what kind of re-writing they are going to do.
liotte - I have NO memory right now. What show are you seeing on Monday?

(I saw Lady Bird's funeral procession in 1982 in a small town in Kansas.)
I hope that it works out for Arden and Schwartz.
New finale song, for one. Plus it's going to be more flashy-Vegasesque. That's what I've heard so far. My friend in it is very, very excited.
It is a reading for something new. I don't know much (or anything) about it, I'll post on monday when I get back.
You know, there was a reading locally in the winter for a new Stephen Schwartz show as well. I never made it... I think it might've been like a review, though.

Think about the sun, Pippin. Think about her golden glance. How she lights the world up, well now it's your chance.
Instead, Elphaba sings For Good?
This is a brand new show, and when wicked came out, I remember my mom telling me that the person we know who is writing a new show for broadway was working with him on the music. But I don't know if that is true still.
Wow. A new ending for Pippin? How can that be? The journey of the show is all about what happens at the end...
liotte, keep us posted. I'll be interested to hear about it.

Wicked is the name of a show and should be capitalized.
B is behaving wickedly
I already have tix for the show, addy. I'll be posting about it.
L has grammar errors? The horror!!!

Not grammar issues, I just don't always capitalize show names if I am being lazy.

I actually knew that and still could not resist!!!!
DD, I can't wait to hear about it.
I know, I deserve it with the amount of crap I give you all. I'll have to try to be more careful from now on.
