Today is school spirit day. Everything and everyone is decked out in purple and white (our school colors). The cafeteria is selling - no joke - chicken tenders and purple mashed potaoes. I'm heading off campus and I don't want to see or eat anything purple for the rest of the day.

Mojitos aren't purple, are they?

Moonie, today is Grandparent's Day at school. I dropped by on the way to work. Such cute kids!!!!

You must be celebrating the same "week" we are. I've celebrated myself into a new dress size, I'm sure. No Grandparents Day here, but there is one at the elementary school next door. I agree - cute as can be!

the purple mashed potatoes could be made from Chilean blue potatoes. Or just purple food coloring and mashed potato rehydrated flakes

Cookie, believe me, it's the flakes with food coloring. How many WW points for purple dye? Student Council gave out gift bags of candy today. I swear, I don't look for the calories, they FIND me.

L - I'm moving downtown at the end of the month, and between visitors, dog sitting, skiing, softball practices and trying to get to some shows, I do not have a single day off until the first weekend of March.

There's a bar in town and they had a 'special' mojito, and it had all these crushed fruits in it. It was gross. I'll stick to the original.

brd... from your earlier question... no immediate theater plans other than going to lots of productions. I would love to SM again, and have submitted for a couple of gigs, but nothing yet.
