The brokeback one is used here too, Logainne changes her speech a couple times a week usually, that one is pretty recent. Tonight's was about Hamas winning the election in Palestine...
Sounds hysterical -- glad you enjoyed it, hep!
It was a very good production, Shira. Loved it.
Hi, all...
I'm not sure I've posted on this thread yet. I posted on the other Mojito Part 2 thread, but this looks to be the one that survived.
Cheers to all.
Hi Addy, glad to have you join us!
GH, I am glad that you enjoyed the show. Bee love all around!
ADDY!
How have you been -- I've missed you and your pinkness.
Good evening to our pink-tinged friend!
Good evening Addy & company!
Great weekend... well, except for the part when I didn't sleep last night.
I have my concert tomorrow, so had wonderful rehearsals yesterday and today. And I went to see the movie "Fateless" this evening, which was beautiful and shattering.
I'm now eating part of a Jaques Torres chocolate bar. And it's quite perfect.
Hope you all had wonderful weekends!
Sounds pretty good, Addy.
Best of luck tomorrow!
And why is the chocolate so special?
What concert are you doing??
I took a couple of hours off today to check out the Phoenix Art Museum. They had a couple of nice visiting exhibits, which actually happend to be from my neck of the woods, adn some nifty Shogun armor.
RC, that sounds great! How long are you there?
Ok, here's my shameless plug for the concert:
A Composer's Journey: Le Villi and Turandot Act III (Berio ending)
Puccini's first and last operas, Le Villi and Turandot (Act III, Luciano Berio ending), will be presented at Carnegie Hall on Monday, January 30, 2006 as part of a gala evening.
Giacomo Puccini is among opera's best-loved composers; yet, few audiences are familiar with his first opera Le Villi. Although it is his earliest opera, Le Villi illustrates Puccini's innate sense of melodic invention. The opera utilizes the same literary sources as the ballet Giselle.
His final work, Turandot, composed in the four years leading to his death in 1924 contains some of Puccini's most beloved melodies - the arias In questa reggia and Nessun dorma. Unfortunately, Puccini did not live to complete the final act of his opera. This performance will present the New York premiere of a new ending orchestrated by Luciano Berio, one of the most influential voices of the modern era.
and, the chocolate is so special... because... well, it's just an absolutely delicious chocolate bar. House blend. 60% dark chocolate. It just makes me happy.
Sounds great Addy, too bad I'm on the other coast.
I've been in AZ since Wednesday, I'm flying to LA tomorrow for the rest of the week.
I have to thank DG for the suggestion of the museum.
Addy, you know how to make us very happy - dark chocolate!
RC, my mother would just love the Shogun's armour. She is quite knowledgeable on that era of Japanese history.
Yes, Addy. Did you bring enough to share?
Wow, sounds great Addy! I wish I could come but I already have tickets to The Public Sings!
Liotte! You are going!
*wrestles little green monster to the ground*
Yes, I'm going! I'll try to take pics, stagedoor, audio, whatever!
I'm sure you'll have a fine old time.
Have a ball and tell us all about it.
Time for me to say goodnight, all. Early flight tomorrow.
Take care, RC.
Enough for everyone!
liotte, I SO wanted to go to that concert tomorrow! I can't wait to hear all about it!
And, CONGRATS to the one and only DayDreamer on being selected to be the Celebrity of the Day. On his BIRTHDAY no less!
I think that calls for a toast!
*raises mojito*
