Oh Dame, we have the annual International Arts Festival going on at the moment. Guess who is too busy to go?
Anyway, is everyone nice and exhausted over there?

Plays, dance companies, concerts, etc.
A few years ago it was marvellous. The Steppenwolf Company came and did a couple plays. The Wooster Group came and did a couple of plays. The Australian Ballet had Sylvie Guillem as guest performer in 'Manon.' There are concerts and jazz and dancing in public spaces. There is also a lot of wackiness that goes on as part of the festival. It's usually a lot of fun.

Dame, tell Iris hello.
I have a presentation to the local civic assoc. about the kids school - a very pleasant experience.
The wife is maybe the crankiest that I have seen.

Posted: 10/18/05 at 10:47pmThanks for the warning, but not yet, just a long busy day. We rearranged rooms yesterday and are getting ready for the maid service and I was at a meeting - a cranky combo!

Dame, we have three kids - time alone is rare. We did have lunch together today, but with about 100 people.
We are having a night alone soon, for the first time since NY in 2003!
