Everybody's busy day is exhausting me just reading about them! I think I'll go take a nap and get some rest.
Morning all. Extra hours again today for the 7th day in a row. I need a day off!
Hola mojitians...
Busy day here too. Another conference next week to prepare for. Plus last week of Blood Brothers. Plus we're going to the opening of a new bar tonight.

I spent the morning with a buffoon lawyer and his crappy case. I should have tried it, but paid nuisance to make it go away.
brd... how was the celebaration last night?

Relatively quiet on the north side. I did hear fireworks. Most was happening on the south side.
Strange... so the city is really divided like that? North side = cubs, south side = Sox. Hm. I thought the whole city would've been having fun.

Only as a general principle. I did not go to Comisky this year and had no desire. But, I definately rooted for the Sox as they are a Chicago team.
One day, maybe, in the distant future, Seattle will win a World Series.

Have the Mariners ever won? Did they not dominate a few years ago?
The Mariner's have never even won the pennant. They've won the division several times. In 2001 they had an excellent season, but they choked at the end to the Yankees, I think.
I actually thought they had at least made it to the World Series, but I was corrected last night.

Well, here we will never forget "five outs from the Pennant."
I had a great time at Wrigley this year - 7 or 8 games.
Even though I'm not a huge baseball fan, I always enjoy going to Safeco Field.

I love Wrigley - it is like church to me!
Wasn't there talk of tearing it down?
Broadway Legend Joined: 1/14/05
No, they are renovating the bleachers and building a parking garage.
*phew*
I hate it when they tear down classic historic structures.
I love Wrigley field. I only went to one game there this summer, last summer was 4 or 5 games.
Just got back...
Took one midterm. Got one back.
Feeling crappy.
Drink, please.
*chugs*

Can't decide whether to have a cocktail after work, I have a hall pass until 7. Hmm, What would DD say?
You know what I would say, Mr. I never pass up a chance for a cocktail after work. Or two. Or six.
We are going to the opening of a new bar tonight, Purr, after the show. Lots of friends are going to be there... there's a lot of buzz about it.
