Not so much....
I have been on the phone all night dealing with friends across the country because everyone is trying to meet up in Vegas for New Years. I have no voice left and the coughing has returned, so I am going to sleep.
Goodnight!

SO... the evening didn't turn out as planned. They never do. Had great fun at happy hour, then went on a pseudo bar-crawl with my friends. WAY fun tonight.

Seeing old friends tonight.

Posted: 11/5/05 at 10:47amI saw this film last night called "Breakfats at Pluto". I really enjoyed it. It was directed by the guy who did Crying Game.

Posted: 11/5/05 at 1:21pmI'm so jealous... it's cold and rainy here today... big storm coming through. And lots of snow on the mountaints! So excited!

Posted: 11/5/05 at 1:23pmI'm quite happy it has been so warm in NYC, I'm dreading the snow!

Posted: 11/5/05 at 1:27pmThankfully we don't get snow in the lowlands very often... when we do it's a royal pain. Driving in the snow/ice with all the hills is not a fun thing. As long as the snow stays above 2,000 ft. I'm happy.

Posted: 11/5/05 at 1:29pmAt least here when it is snowy out, the subways are pretty good at running and it's not too bad. And you can walk most places anyway. I don't mind driving in the snow but it's nice not to have to worry about it!

Posted: 11/5/05 at 1:32pmAs you probably know, if we get 4" of snow, the city shuts down.

Posted: 11/5/05 at 1:34pmYup, I know that one. I used to be terrified when driving to my grandma's house- She lived off of East Mercer Way on Mercer Island and as you know, it's very curvy and hilly. I thought we were going to slide off the mountain and end up at the bottom of a gully or in the lake!

And the roads on Mercer Island are SO curvy and narrow...
How are you feeling today, btw? Is your voice back?

Mercer Island is beautiful, I love going there in the summer.
I am feeling much better, though my nose is still stuffed and I am coughing up all the crap in my lungs. It's gross but I'm getting better. Thanks for asking!
