Yeah, my sisters don't have that problem....
That's not true actually, I graduated in the top 10% of my class. Would been higher if not for Chem honors.

I sucked in school... damn ADD. Too bad they didn't diagnose it back then.

Ditto, DD!
The constant refrain of "you're a smart girl - why don't you APPLY YOURSELF??"
Now we know why, but it's WAY too late.

Posted: 11/5/05 at 3:42pmI just organized my closet after carrying down the A/C units to the basement. Very heavy.

Posted: 11/5/05 at 3:44pmI wish I had a basement (or even a small closet) or something for storage space. I got nothing and my apartment is looking very cluttered.

Posted: 11/5/05 at 7:15pmStill at work on this stormy day. It's pouring outside! And I just realized I have a flat tire. Yikes! Not sure where everything is in my car... I should've gone through the manual.

DD, that sounds like a bad saturday. Hopefully you are done with work now and out drinking.
Just got home from SB, good show but my head hurts and I probably should not have gone out.

*phew*
Everything was hidden under the spare. Took a bit to find, but once I did it was no issue. I feel so butch right now...
Not sure if I'm going out. Don't want to drive on the freeway with a spare. Thinking about maybe taking the bus, but then I have to either come home by 10:55 or or 2:20 am. Still chatting with my friend who's trying to convince me to go out.

WB is sound asleep, harris.
LOL, L - I was just thinking that I'm prolly going to stay in. I really don't want to drive into town during a storm with a spare on my car, and don't really feel like taking the bus during a storm either. I know if I get downtown, I can probably hook up with my roommate somewhere... but it's late, would have to shower, blah blah... and a 45 minute bus ride. Yeah... staying in.
Walter will be happy I'll stay with him tonight.

Posted: 11/5/05 at 11:53pmI wish I had a dog. But I just don't have time to take care of one here in the city (when I'm actually working). And I'm not keen on picking up dog poop from the sidewalk...

You know, I bet it's like kids. You think you'd never be able to do something, and then, when it's yours, you don't seem to mind anymore.
Even my mother - who's never been a dog fan - takes Walter for walkies and picks up after him.

Posted: 11/5/05 at 11:58pmYeah, it's not so much that part, more of the not having enough time for a dog, it wouldn't be fair. My neighbors down the hall have a dog, and he just barks all day or night whenever he is home on his own. I keep wanting to call the ASPCA or something, he just has major separation anxiety issues.

That's terrible.
Honestly, TODAY I wouldn't get a dog. When my ex bought Walter for me, it was a very different time. I was 'married' and lived a very mellow, suburbanite life. God knows I don't anymore, and not sure I'd want to go back to that either.

So cute!
My dog at home in CA is 16, I've had her for longer than 2 of my sisters!
