Before the office moved, the gym was down the street so it was easy to go at lunch. But now it would take too long. Morning is pretty much the only option, unless I give up my social life.
Like that's gonna happen.
From what you tell us of your social life, it sounds like you already got workouts late at night!

I have a massive head ache.
That's because you drank too many mojitos.

I have a slight one which I believe is a per-cursor to a cold.
NO. It is because I had chocolate before going to bed. Sort of a sugar head ache.
was it a white chocolate?
LOL. Actually it was dark..
How does one get a headache from chocolate? If I did that, I would have a permanent headache.
I do if I eat it too late. I guess it is a sugar thing or a age thing.

I just received a notice from a suburb of a $3.00 parking ticket, it would be $50.00 in the city.
$3?? That's worth it for a good parking spot!
Directv is has announced a $5.00 increase in os Angeles and it has me fuming.
I do not have cable, so I cannot commiserate with you DAME. Sorry though!
I don't hav cable either. I have satellite. Cable is for the city people that can't put a dish on their rofftops and the little people. ( he-he)
There is only 1 show on tv that I watch, so it's not worth getting any kind of extra service. I would just become more lazy than I am now by sitting around and watching tv all day.
Instead of sitting of standing around in cancelation lines over and over. ( he-he.. I am in a mood)

I don't sit around in cancelation lines. I do lotteries or rush, where the max wait time is 30 minutes.
Plus transortation time to and from the theater. Plus the time you sit in the theater. Oh who am I kidding. If I lived in Ny I would probaly do the same.

I would like to take every Wednesday afternoon off to go to the theatre, or museum, etc.
I love your museums in Chicago. I hate the ones in NY. To overwhelming.
DAME, from where I live, it takes less than 5 mins by subway (20 mins walking) to get to Times Square. Transportation is not a good excuse for me :)
Liote;
You will have a good ( defensive) answer for anything I say to you.
And I am just ruffling your feathers.
