You are younger than I and DG!
I was once on this first date, and the guy, seriously, looks at me and says "You don't look a day over 45." And he was serious!
Needless to say there was no second date.
That would be one of the reasons I never attempt to guess how old someone is! Hope you smacked him upside the head!

DD- my work schedule is all topsy-turvy, and I am not working while you are here. So I can see the matinee and play hostess all weekend for you!! However, I might just get rush tickets for Sweeney and see the same show as you but not sit together... The night show I am open to anything, preferably something happy :)

Excellent! We get to party all weekend. (well, technically Wed. thru Fri.)
I just made a face, girly, and he kept on going down until 41 and I just said "Stop. Please stop."
I hate being carded, but I guess I am still young enough that it will be awhile. But I'm almost 27, wow that's old!
I'm rolling my eyes at that one, Liotte! I used to think that, too, once upon a time!

Two words - late twenties!
Well yeah, I know compared to all you folks (except Shira), I am still young. But I feel old now.
I hate it when I go to a bar with someone older than me, and they get carded and I don't.
I hate being carded.
Likely, because my ID says my real age.
Shira, that's why you go out with me and I get your alcohol!

L - I think you just admitted to an illegal act!
This fairy god-father did not just read that last line...
Who am I kidding. She was with two fairy-godfathers drinking sangria, and one drinking mojitos.
I know...thank goodness for you Liotte. But someone else willalso help me in that department..I'll tell you later.
And yeah, fairy godfathers and I drank together. You SO can't comment!

I just was upstairs and the girls were listening to For Good and C10 was crying? Funny.
See now, I don't feel so bad.
And brdlwyr, I know. But I had older people buy me alcohol when I was young, so I feel like I should return the karma. And also, I make sure it is consumed in a safe environment with people to take care of her.
I will NEVER drink that much again...god, I hope not anyway.

I do not judge, just comment.
I had my first drink at 14!!!
Most Jewish boys have their first drinks at 8 days...I probably had mine at 12.

Shira - I meant first drunk. My kids have never asked for even a sip.
I didn't even start drinking much til college. Only a couple tastes in HS and it wasn't very good.
But I made up for lost time!
