Hi! Traveling was more like it.

I was lucky enough to take the school plane from Cleveland, and to be sitting in the nursery section. I was surrounded by crying children. For 4 hours. And 45 minutes.

Went to see King Kong this afternoon. BORING.

I hope you are not complaining about my daily life????

Are you just getting back from DC?

re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

Never! I'm not a kid person, remember?

Got in from DC this morning, around 11:30. Spent the afternoon with a friend.

My wife saw King Kong and told me that I would hate it. The kids were indifferent.

Back to work tomorrow?

re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

Unfortunately, yes. And a co-worker quit during the holidays, so it should be a lot of fun. Thank goodness it's only a 3-day week for me, and I'm going to Vancouver this weekend.

Yeah, get bonus tomorrow. And will immediately pay for part (PART) of my NY trip.

I'll be very cranky the next few days myself, I'm sure.

L was in Vegas... not sure where she is today. I'm sure she'll pop by soon...

Yes, I do recall that - hello L!

Today was not too bad, a little catch up - little mail and few messages.

No leads here.

The kids are still cranky about returning to school.

Wet and rainy in Chicago - lots of work to do!

DD, what shows did you end up seeing while you were gallavanting about?? I know Wicked and Sweeney, right? Anything else?
I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2.

Saw DRS and Avenue Q on B'way, and Damn Yankees at Arena Stage in DC. So much theater, so little time, and even less money.

Oh, I know that feeling. Any one particular favorite out of them all?

re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

Actually no, I didn't stay for debauchery. One of my friends and I both had redeye flights out on monday night, the rest of the group left early afternoon. My friend ended up needing to go to the ER, so I was in the hospital with him for the last 36 hours of my trip (with no sleep whatsoever), had to change my flight so he wasn't by himself. Not the best ending to a good trip, but I'm glad I had the flexibility to stay with him and help him out. He is still in vegas, his family flew out there to be with him, he'll be there for at least a week. Oy.

And DD, your DRS poster is in my living room.

re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

Sweeney was by far my favorite. Totally blew me away.

My favorite surprise was DRS, which I had no desire to see, but Mamie and BlueMoon and Harpo talked it up, so I managed to get a ticket. Loved it! So funny. And Norbert was great. But all the shows were great. Not a dud in them all.

Sorry to hear about your friend, L. I hope it was nothing TOO serious (obviously it's serious since he's in the hospital.) I'm so dumb about the poster... I told myself over and over not to forget it.
