DAME! Miss you!
hey DD... How are you hon? It has just been madness at work.
Hey.. might I suggest not discussing screener copies of movies on a public board?
I'm gonna try and go see Lestat before it leave San Francisco.. I've heard mixed things about it..
Good... busy at work too, but managing to have fun. Still recovering from my holiday vacation...
DD; Going tonight to a dress rehearsal ( I think thats what it is) of "Importance Of Being Earnest" with Lynn Redgrave and directed by Peter Hall.
Brdlwyr, something like that...
Cammy, let me know how Lestat is! I still will feel guilty going to the Palace to see it, it's like I'm cheating on All Shook Up.
And I have never seen either of these understudies go on in these roles (I've seen them both in other roles in the show), so I want to check it out.

I am busy also, overworking the mouse secretary. We are filing pleadings that are out of the ordinary and you would think that I am dictating in Greek.
Wow, what's with all this busy stuff? What's that like?
I will definately let you know.. From what I'm told the second act is better than the first act. Like I said I've heard mixed things about it, and it's still in previews so it's likely to have changes made before it officially opens in NYC..
I heard last night that it needs MAJOR rewrites if it wants to make it to B'way.
I love 'Earnest', DAME. Would love to go see that.
My next big show is "Wedding Singer" in February. Lots of small productions I must make time to see in the near future.
I'm sure it will have rewrites before it hits broadway, but there is also a stage already being built in NYC for it.. It will go, it's just a matter of how long it will stay..
I know that when Wicked was previewed here it went through some major rewrites before broadway..
I'd still like to see it. I'm glad my Wedding Singer tickets fall mid-run. Hopefully I'll see something close to what actually opens on B'way.
Wedding Singer is only somewhat based on the movie though, right?
Well Lestat will be mid run by the time I get to see it.. It opened last month and only runs through the 29th of this month.. I hear the girl that plays Claudia is very talented..
It's based on the movie... same story, pretty much. Same character names. The music is original, though I do hope they, in some way, shape, or form, manage to play some of the mid-80's classics that made the movie so much fun to watch.
I honestly don't think I've ever seen the movie straight through from beginning to end. I have watched parts of it on TV, so I think I got most of it.
I would like to see that.. You will have to let me know what you think.
It's one of the few Adam Sandler movies I actually like. Of course, Drew's in it. Considering the only other one is 50 First Dates.
most of his movies crack me up.. But I really love the wedding singer.. It's definately a favorite..
Maybe someone should plan a trip to the NW... if it ever stops raining here.
I'm more partial to Billy Madison and Big Daddy.
Can't stomach either one of those.
I LOVE Billy Madison..
