You simply should come up to Vancouver though! Both of you. Fly domestic to Seattle, visit DD for a couple of nights, take the shuttle bus to Vancouver (which is much cheaper than flying here) and stay here for a couple of nights (enough time to TP my house), then DD and us can hit the slopes in Whistler for a couple of nights and you can go back with him to catch your flight out of Seatac!
