re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

I learned to play my instrument when I was about 10-11.

Seriously, I can play cords and bass notes for accompaniment, but I do not know properly how to play the piano. I do play guitar and took drum lessons for about 5 years.

JG - my daughter can play the flute fairly well - we have an orchestra at their grade school.

I can play the piano and trombone well. I can only read tabs for guitar and bass (but do a mean 'Enter Sandman' and 'Smoke On The Water'!).

I need a mojito after this BrendanStryker drama. I'm with jrb on this.

Happy weekend!

Maybe it's because it's Friday the 13th, but does the board seem more psychotic than usual today?

Weekend? Honey, I'll be here all weekend and you can tell me how good my Saturday and Sunday is, wasting away in front of the screen. re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

This weekend should be nice.

Shopping with my aunt tomorrow.

By the way, everyone should see "Mrs. Henderson Presents". Judi Dench is excellent.

They ran the trailer for "Mrs. Henderson..." the last time I went to the movies. I need to see this film.

I have to agree with Tiff -this board has been absolutely squirrely today. Haven't been here much, but every time I check in it gets crazier. The Stryker thread aloneis giving me a headache.

Found the cause: I just looked outside. Yup, a full moon.

re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

OMG... is there really a full moon? Last night we were out and it was crazy.

See, DD? If there's a full moon in Australia and one in D.C., there's bound to be one in Seattle.

Yes, Rath? You bellowed?

funny how that works. Right now you could tell me the sky is red, and I'd have to believe you since I haven't seen it in a while.

Oh, right, the rain. Sorry.
Excuse me for a moment........

HI RATH!!!!!!!!

Ok, back to business.

I was regaling people at lunch today with my tales of NYC with you guys and you know what?

NO ONE BELIEVES ME. I'm not kidding. The dancing, the bar, the drunk in the bar, NONE of it.

People are so cynical. You'd think I'd faked my death on the internet.

The guy I was seeing (keyword: was) didn't quite believe me either, until he sat at a table with Tiff and I and saw us talk non-stop for 2 hours.
