Sorry bout that brdlwyr. And I'm sure I don't help too much...
With that....I have writing today. Ew. I mean, I can, like, write. Isn't "LOL", a valid English word now? It should be totally valid in essays!

Kids throwing attitude at you, brd?
Getting ready for another non-stop day for me. Busy at work, rehearsal, and THEN I'm going out... the 'younger' brother is moving away this weekend, and since the 'older' brother is going out of town tomorrow, we're having our last hurrah this evening. Kind'a sad about that, now that I think about it.

SO Chicago was fabulous. My favorite things were the water Architectual tour, Brdwlyrs walking tour ( which we all followed to the letter). Shopping at the Magnificent mile ( had to buy a new peice of luggage for all the deals we got). Millenium park is outstanding. I recommend it even more in the evenings. The Art institute is one of the best museums I have visited simply because it is so accesible and not as overwhelming as the ones in NY or Paris. I was bit dissapointed that "American Gothic" was out on loan .. but nevertheless.. what a great museum. I had done the Aquarium before but did it again. Really nice. The Chicago Tribune has been naming the wonders of Chicago daily so we made sure to cover all of those ( which lawyer had already adviced us on).
Chicago has by far one of the best gay scenes in the country. All the clubs, Hydrate, Sidetracks, Roscoes, etc.. were al outstanding. The people so friendly and the dance music excellent. Sidetracks on Sunday and Monday nights is any theater lovers heaven ( gay or straight).
The food everywhere was good except for the Pizza. It sucked. We tried three different places and there is just no Pizza like NY's.
Anyway.. had a great time. Can't wait to visit again.
Oh.. one confession.. we succumbed to the devil and did see Wicked . ( we were staying right across from the theater). There were a few empty seats scattered throughout the theater. In general.. it is the same show as everywhere else.. but I found the cast for the most part to be third rate. Ben Vereen was the best wizard I have seen and I ususally HATE him. Ana was a nice surprise but definitely the worst Elphie I have seen. I am sorry.. it is a musical.. you should be able to sing the hell out of the role. Oh and what a gorgeous theater. The green lights in the front are so pretty.
Anyway.. what a great city. If it wasn't for its brutal winters it would be a great place for me to live.

I just found out that one of my bandmates shares my birthday. Since there are only three of us, it's quite a coincidence.

"And Shira's still in college." -- what is THAT supposed to mean, DD?
I'm in a BITCHY mood after today...it was just LONG! And I have to pay $300 to fix that kids computer. Plus I have to fix MY computer. And I have to do laundry. And I have a 6:15 flight to North Carolina tomorrow...

Hi all,
Have to run back to my apartment on the west side- I have to meet someone to give them my yankees tickets for tomorrow night and forgot them on my desk, ugh. Then back to the east side to be with the kids again from 7am-10pm tomorrow!
