Dame, I hope that your father is well. My parents are old and other than obesity and blindness, they have been doing fine lately.
My wife will take C7 to the doctor this afternoon and also have C10's finger looked at.

DAME, I hope it't just a cold!
Brdlwyr, I hope the C's all get better. I'm contemplating getting my thumb looked at because it hurts, yet I can bend it...I dunno if it's sprained, and if I should have it looked at or not.
Two classes down, two to go, and then dogsitting!

DAME, dear... I hope he's ok. I know the feeling... with my parents older and living far away as well.
Today's turning out to be crazy. Ugh.

How are the kids feeling?
Shira,
Is your boo- boo better?

Posted: 9/13/05 at 12:54pmMy thumb? Nope. But it's not like I'm actually taking care of it, because I use my thumb. If it stops working, I'll head to the doctor. Alrighty, I'm outta here, Have a great day!

Posted: 9/13/05 at 2:01pmI got back to CR about every 2 or 3 years, but they go visit my sister in DC about once a year, so I try to go there at that time. So pretty much once a year... at most two. My mid-term plans are to move back to CR to be closer to them as they get older.

Posted: 9/13/05 at 2:49pmWe old men are at the age that we need to make sure we visit our parents when we can. I will spend T-Day with my parents this year even though the food really really sucks. (Thanksgiving is one of my specialties.)
re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)#1737
Posted: 9/13/05 at 2:51pmI used to hate visiting m family. I don't anymore. I actually enjoy it. I don't know what has brought on the change. I guess since I am now older I relate more?

They are not your hussys. They are mine. Sammy what happened? You used to be so creative and original on your own. Can't you come up with your own being?

Just dropping in to say a quick *hello* to the Beav, who it seems I rarely get to talk with anymore - and thanks for the birthday greeting
And, of course, hello to all the other mojitans, as well!

I miss the Beav -- wish he'd post more often. What, does he have a life or something?
Just got back from my long day of classes. Ugh! Resting for a bit, then dogsitting.

OMG brdlwyr, that made me laugh!!
Just got home from the Tarzan sneak peek, it looks great and I loved seeing Phil Collins, who made an appearance and sang all of his songs from the movie, as well as some new ones in the show. And then Jenn Gambatese (ASU love!!) who will apparently be playing Jane, sang a song with the man playing Tarzan (whose name I couldn't catch) and that was fantastic!! Fun evening.

I like Disney, Tarzan is up there with one of my favs. I got home and turned on the movie.
It was cool that he is so involved and was there to pitch the show at this thing. Even if you don't like him DAME, you have to admit that it's awesome that he came, talked about the show, and sang a bunch of songs. Most people don't do that.
re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)#1748
Posted: 9/13/05 at 9:43pmOh i am sure it was awesome. I still don't like his music.
