She was a very good girl last evening, drinking Champagne like a lady - well except for the brief moment when she slammed what was left in her glass to make room for the next pour
Ooops, I wasn't going to tell anyone about that

I would have if you didn't! I had intended to finish the glass before they came with the next pour...but I was chattering away, and didn't get to it in time.
Those who know me in NY are now laughing at that. Me? Chatter? LOL...
Oh, and speaking of champagne, I returned to my room after the party last night to find a bottle of Veuve on ice and a box of chocolates. The champagne will return home with me, but I enjoyed a truffle at 5:30 this morning...

Truffles at 5:30am - now THAT'S how to enjoy LA!
And, of COURSE I'll come charging in on a white stud - I mean steed - to bail you out

My Addy, this sounds marvelous!
I'm currently in full hair and makeup and sweats...before I squeeze myself into a very becoming and cleavage baring little black dress.
Thanks for the support you guys - It's nice to have such good friends!
To Addy -- aren't Robert and DGrant both simply marvelous? I do adore them both. I do hope DG is enjoying his morning bourbon.
As for the Getty, have a fantastic time. And do bring me back a Monet. Oh, and if you get a chance, stop by my house and pet my doggy. I'm just down the street from the Getty!

Not that I expect to need being bailed out...
Undi, I think I've spilled it all. I don't believe I have anything left...
Shira, as soon as I get back to NYC, you and I are making plans! (Were you ears burning yesterday - we were talking about you!

Everything good, I hope. Though who am I kidding, I'm sure some salacious details of my alter-ego slipped out in conversation.

MMmmm, mimosas!
I have to head out in a bit to meet someone for breakfast, and am tempted to have a stiff drink first. Maybe I'll crack that champagne after all...
And, Shira, it was ALL good!

*phew* just checking Addy!
I'm off to breakfast as well. Pray they have mimosas, or I could probably hack a margarita at this hour. Long day of heels!
Enjoy your day!

Didn't I say I HAD TO GO?!?!?
But it's difficult to leave the company of such lovely and wonderful women

Reminds me of when I'm told to go to bed...and I don't. It's so hard to leave the party!
I, too, have to get going. Though I would much rather stay in my bathrobe and play on BWW...

Posted: 9/18/05 at 1:33pmSounds like a happening day in LA... what I would do for a bloody mary right now. If I didn't have to go pretend to be butch... erm, I mean play softball.

Broadway on Broadway was fun, as always.
Cheyenne, Nikki, and Curtis from ASU sounded the best, and that's not just cuz I am biased towards them. It really was amazing. Dancing Queen (Mamma Mia) and Seasons of Love (Rent) were also good.

I found this tired old thread on page 2.
I love Addy's gown - so sexy!
Long great day for C7 and I. We watched an incredible football game in our firm's incredible seats. My long standing friend also has seats and lives about a mile from Soldier Field, so we met before and after the game.
Last night, I had way too much fun at a party!! Wow, I danced my butt off with strangers! My wife was shocked at my moves!

Always hard when someone you love is ill...
My day was good, broadway on broadway was awesome, walked through a streetfair on Columbus Ave, then came home to take a nap. Tomorrow is babysitting, tutoring, and the Broadway Unplugged at Town Hall.
