Sounds good!

Okay I'm off to get dressed and do wedding things...I have a lunch with my 3rd cousins or something. And we all walked/ran a 5K this morning.

I hate it when people are late. Was supposed to meet someone at 1, it's not 1:40, and she's still not here. Got a text message from her around 12:30 saying she would be a few minutes late, but 40 (so far) isn't a few!!! Grrrr....

Have a couple of minutes while the clients I'm schmoozing drop shopping bags off in their rooms. We're doing a little bit of damage on Rodeo. I bought birthday presents for my sister and niece (and a little something for myself...thanks to a long-distance enabler!)

Dame, I am NOT eating a brownie tomorrow! I have to do the client thing and get all decked out for the Emmy's! LOL. I have to keep my wits about me. I have the schedule for tomorrow... sending you a PM.

Liotte and Shira, when I get back to NY we will get together. I'm looking forward to it! re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

Ok, back out I go. It's beautiful here today.

re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

Ooh, damage on Rodeo! Sounds like fun!

Just got back from wedding festivities. I had such a great time...because I wasn't with my family. Everyone else is nice, but I can honestly say my personality and happiness level changes drastically once it's the 5 of us...I just want to kill something when I'm with them. Everything is about how my Dad lost weight and that of course implies how much I've gained...oh, no to mention my brother's and father's fantastic new enterpreneurial adventures. Oh, and Shira? Well, obviously she's gaining weight, so maybe she shouldn't be living in NYC and whatnot...AHHHHHHHHH! I'm sorry to vent, but I don't have a new therapist yet.

I hate conditional love.

Goodnight! Tomorrow I will attend a wedding that celebrates love and happiness. I wish I believed in it myself, and for myself.

Sorry for the pessimism!

re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

I know. It's odd that the only unconditional love I have is from friends and not family. I feel like it should be both!

Gee, if I could tell my family f*ck off....I can't even comprehend.

re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

Shira, I've spent many years dealing with the same crap from my family about being overweight, and now I just don't talk to them anymore so much. I'm much happier that way :)

Aww, thanks Harris! And I agree, guys suck!

I had a strawberry daquari with dinner tonight, made the show (SB) much funnier!!

When are you coming to NY so we can have all nighters and go out drinking?
#2111

re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

Guys suck only if you're lucky.

Meeting Addy was like catching up with a long lost relative.

Shira - you can pick your friends, not your family. I think you pick well.

re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

As DG said - like seeing a long lost friend. I could have stayed out with them all night... we certainly have enough to talk about! I am already looking forward to the next visit.

And, may I add how delightful it was to meet Robert. How is it possible that we've never communicated, yet felt like we knew eachother...

What a lovely evening!

(and great party at the Museum of Television and Radio!)

Addy and Robert felt like they knew each other because I have a big fat mouth and tell them both everything! re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

Glad the party was fun, Addy, now get some rest!

re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

I love meeting bww people. I immediately felt so comfortable with DG and Robert. Can't wait to meet the rest of my fellow mojitians... one day, soon, I hope.

Long day. Rehearsal was great... Blood Brothers is turning out to be one of the most positive theater experiences I've ever had, and I think the show's going to be quite good. The woman that plays Mrs. Johnstone is wonderful. Dance concert was good... no missed cues tonight. Yay for me! And then went to the boonies to this out-of-the-way gay bar and had a great time.

Don't have to be up until late tomorrow... yay!

Hehe - I wondered what was going on that got you going so early on a Sunday, Liotte re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

I hope the revue is fabulous - I'll be curious if the LENNON folks perform.

re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

Days of the week don't matter to me, sweetie - I'm ALWAYS up before the sun. I LOVE starting the day in the quiet and dark, and watching things come to life with the light. And especially THIS morning because there's a setting full moon to go along with the show. And Sunday mornings are particularly peaceful!

These early hours are the time I have to myself - to drink my coffee, catch up with the world and wrap my head around where I'm at, what I'm doing and how I think and feel about it all.

And sometimes I just go back to bed re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

Wow, that sounds wonderful! I mean, don't get me wrong, I'd never do it myself, but it sounds really nice!

Enjoy! I'm off to battle the masses in Times Square! Then I'll be home to take a nap.

re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

Rest? Not when there's so much fun to be had!

I've been up for a while, too, but having another bathrobe morning. Am going out for breakfast in a bit and then HOPEFULLY meeting the Mother Hussy. (Got your voicemail - will call in a bit. Don't want to wake you up!). Running clients over to the Getty for a bit, which will be followed by the whirlwind of getting ready for the big afternoon and night.

Our After-Party is generating LOTS of buzz. At the currently-hot Roosevelt Hotel, we've gotten a great response from the stars, and our 'entertainment' at the party will be a performance by Missy Elliott! re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel) Can't WAIT!

Look for me on the red carpet... LOL. I'll be in the mob scene in a little black dress.

Oh, Addy - I LOVE the Getty! Hopefully you can stand for just a moment in the room with the Monet's, van Gogh and Renoir's - simply magical! If nothing else, stroll through the wonderful garden and look out over the valley re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

Have fun at the party - and try not to end up on the late-night newscast!

re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

Will you bail me out if I do, DG?

I am sure you'll all be able to hear me when Mr. Jackman makes his appearance... I wonder if he'll wear his gold lame pants? re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

Yes, the Getty is spectacular. I'm happy that the folks I'm schmoozing wanted to do that today. They've made special arrangements for us so we can go straight there and not wait on line. How uppity is that? K will be proud...
