Endorphins or not I think I will do the same. Night cookie
Wow Cookie! It's been about five million years since I've had a lullaby sung to me. How thoughful. :)

Good morning mojitos.
Addy - it is called suncreen. Wasn't there a song about sunscreen?
Cold here in Chicago.
TGIF.
Goodmorning Hussys.
Morning! (actually, afternoon here...)
brdlwyr, I think there must be a song about sunscreen. I used it diligently throughout the week...and then yesterday morning (slightly overcast) went for a bike ride and then sat by the pool for a while with a book, and fell asleep, and... ouch! Luckily I had on long pants and a t-shirt, so I didn't destroy all of me. Just the visible parts... oy.
Thanks for the coffee, Cookie
oh, Cookie, you're the best! Thank you...
Taking my mind off of you being the best? Um, ok...
Thanks!

Addy are you and mom going together to Spamelot?
brdlwyr, not together. It's a wonderful coincidence that we'll both be there tonight! (A few of us are going, actually...)
I'm sure we'll all go out for drinks after the show!

Sounds fun. If you have read any of my Friday posts - you would know that we will be at yet another basketball game tonight. Only a few more. Then off for a family dinner.
I saw Spamelot in Chicago - great main floor seats and laughed with tears for two hours!
I read all of your posts, brdlwyr!
Your Friday night family plans sound wonderful.
I'll be sure to post about the show tomorrow.
Welcome back Addy... glad you're back ok and in one piece, however sunburnt... drink lots of water!!!
brdlwyr, sounds like the food was just amazing last night! I want me some S. American food (not mexican...)
Well... this week's been nuts and I'm falling asleep at my desk. I'm about to get off work, go home, nap, then prepare for closing weekend. (ugh... just last weekend was opening weekend... that's not right!) In the words of Ms. Addy... Have fun everyone!

El Tico - the food was nice. The Clos Apalta 2001 was truly outstanding. We have a private dinner with a chef on Saturday. I will post the menu afterwards.
Have fun this weekend. It has been so many years since I have been on the stage, and I do miss it. But, I live vicariously through others.
ElTico - enjoy closing weekend! Hope it continues to be a smashing success!
Can't wait to hear stories on Monday
brdlwyr, are you doing the dinner in a restaurant or in your home?
I 'bid on' and 'won' a dinner party with a private chef at a charity auction a few years ago. I was able to have a party for 8 people in my home and the chef came and prepared, cooked and served everything. We were able to hang out in the kitchen with him if we wanted to talk about cooking techniques. It was one of my favorite nights ever.
At a charity auction 2 years ago, I won Red Sox tickets and limo service for 12 hours which took us to and from Fenway Park and also on a tour of several Boston martini bars. Who knew you couldn't get a cosmopolitan at a baseball game??
That's what flasks are for!
Yahoo! I'm through for the week and am now blissfully heading home...where I will probably log onto here again. ....but by then I'll be bobbing for olives if you catch my drift.
See you when you get home, Princeton!
...and you can have the olives. I'm looking for something sweeter tonight.
