K - is Jameson and Harp your staples?

BRD -- I have many staples! Harp is certainly one of my favorite beers as well as Stella and just about any German Pils....
Scotch and Whiskeys will find various types in the cabinet -- one of my current favorite scotch for sipping is buchanan 12 year.
Cognac or single malt scotch is my favortie night-cap
But my firends here will attest -- there is not much I won't/don't drink....

K - Obviously Gin is my staple followed by beer. I do not drink whiskeys. I have a 18 year old Glen Levit for special guests. My wife is such a bubbly nut that I join her often.
I do enjoy Stella and Warsterner, but I usually stick to very light beers for now. I was fat and am now not as fat and try to stay away from sugar. I will have a Guiness tonight though.
Oh, and I love brandys and cognac on the rare occassion.
does Thursday count as a rare occassion? Or Maybe Tuesday?

Anyday. You know Sunday to me is the best drinking day!
I find any day of the week that ends with the letter "Y" works fine for me.....

I love this thread - I can live vicariously.
I've got 3 more hours before I can drink... and I NEED a drink tonight!

Unfortunately yes. He called it a " lumbar herniated disc." He said manual treatment should be sufficient and I should be fine in 4 weeks tps. If not then they do a microdiscectomy. ( how is that for big words?) I am already feeling better however.
