Hi mojitians... I just found out that I'm almost at 1,000 posts... hm... should I throw a party?

nothing much today... it's been rainy and gloomy, typical Seattle weather... the rain's been much needed. Entertaining the bf's sister... tomorrow I'm going to a benefit where a whole lot of my friends are singing. Should be fun. No mojitois tonight...

Busy day here. Les Miz. A really boring party for my law partner's wife and then Kareoke at friend's neighbors (no idea that we would be there tonight.) I am off to sleep.
Enjoy tommorrow!
I might be having a mini-karaoke tomorrow night - could be fun!
morning hussys;
Lawyer-how was Les Mis? Did your daughter like it?
I actualy ventured out last night bad back and all. I went to the Susan eagan concert. Very nice.
Hey there, all!
Dame, how's the back feeling?
I know that bartender is 'round here somewhere.

Dame - it was my son and he liked it. The shots fired in the house during the barricade battle were too loud for him, but he sat very well for the 3 hours. He referred to Gavroche as that Tiny Guy and me loved Master of the House. He has insisted on listening to thr CD this afternoon, so I guest he enjoyed it more than originally thought.
Certainly less yougins in the audience as many other shows. We have a date for Wicked in April which also drags a little in Act II.
I know that they took a knife to it many years ago, but it is just about 30 minutes too long. The principals were good – Randall Keith was masterful as Valjean. Adam Jacobs – beautiful voice. Having not seen the production in 15 years – I found that the vocal style has evolved to a much more operatic style, yet less dramatic. The production values are still outstanding which is expected after billions of dollars and millions of audience members. And, Dame – two drinks before and one at intermission. These are season seats and I have it mapped out to be first in line at the bar at intermission.
Tody we had brunch at the Ritz-Carlton (which is now a Four Seasons). Very elegant and excellent food. Champagne was very expensive, but expected.
Addy – I saw the pommy margs listed as a special at one of the bars.
Happy Sunday to all.

Opera?

It was a reasonable adaptation with a few unfortunate anachronisms. David Wenham was a fine Cyrano. He managed a nice balance between arrogance and tenderness. It was controlled and thoughtful. The ensemble was, for the most part, well suited to their roles. So, in short, I was pleased to have seen it.
Aaaahhhhh!!!!! I'm still listening to W-To-W. I can just imagine what a time that audience had on Saturday.
Is Addy back in from the evening festivities? That hussy promised pictures.
not sure pictures will be posted Dame -- big hussy night though!
I hope that a fine time was had by all.
I'm back.
I didn't take any pictures, but I posed for a few...
Dame, how are you feeling? How's your back?
Fun gathering tonight. Much laughter and many delicious martinis...

Addy I assume you were the belle of the ball!!!!!
Was Cookie there - or was he the bartender?
Cookie was there.
...and I was not the belle of the ball. Just one of the crowd. We all had lots of fun.
Any one new you met that you had not met before in one of the gatherings?
