Just some White Cranberry Juice for me right now.

I need a little help and I figured this would be a good place to ask. I'm looking for a nice upscale but not TOO expensive Manhattan restaurant at which to celebrate my upcoming birthday. Someplace chic and fun. Any suggestions? Does such a restaurant exist?

Spice Market, Mattio, in the meatpacking district. Great fun for a group, wonderful food, gorgeous Indonesian design (lotsa teak and sandalwood).

We have rediscovered the VCR tonight (bought one at Sears) - we have not had one for years and the kids are watching such things as th 2004 Tony Awards which their grandmother sent them and now baby videos.
