Posted: 5/2/05 at 1:21amDAME - we got word from the Ahmanson that they are just scrapping their last show. We are thinking of using the PREPAID ticket at the Taper for Stuff Happens. Have you heard anything about it? It makes fun of the administration AND the cast looks terrific!

Hmmm - I went to college in DC - we must talk more And Mamie is an unfortunately infrequent poster, but a beautiful woman who volunteers at the Shakespeare Theatre there (not the Folger) and has shared some wonderful thoughts and experiences here.

Posted: 5/2/05 at 2:20amwe do definitely have to talk. I get so confused with the Folger thing... the Shakespeare co. moved to the Lansburg but they still produce Shakespeare plays at the Folger? Not living here it's hard to keep up with some of the changes in the theater scene.

brdlwyr...I got a book on how to get rid of critters..and yes Squirrels are in there. I'll try and post tonight what they say...it's Grandmas methods of getting rid of critters so they're usually done with stuff you already have around the house.

Posted: 5/2/05 at 10:58amThe L is so much nicer than the NYC subway, though it's inconvenient if you are going anywhere except the loop. You have to go through the loop to get from anywhere to anywhere, even if you just want to go from the red line to say, the blue line. I am in wrigleyville when I am there, and I have to take the red line to the loop and then go on the blue line and go back out to get to Ohare. That express bus up Irving Park isn't so express...
