I don't remember if there are cottonwoods back east... but they're "shedding" (I don't know what else to call it) right now, and it looks like it's snowing outside. All these white fluffy cottonwood balls floating... it's beautimous.

I AM THRILLED THAT YOU ARE QUOTING ME!
I'm a little late, but...
I wear jeans to work almost every day. Running around with the kids, crawling on the floor, art projects, I'm just a mess by the time I'm done. But if I am teaching a family class, or working at services on Saturday mornings, or have a parent-teacher night, then I wear something much nicer, usually a suit.
ugh... it's only 3:50... this day is DRAGGING! I need a mojito...
I have been on this site all day except for the hour and a half when I went shopping.
My old car must know it is about to be eliminated. It just started overheating on the freeway. the fact that it is 104 degrees did not help. I made it home .
It sounds like a cooling pool break is needed. Or, better yet...
Yay... I needed that... showering real quick and heading out the door...
Have a fun Friday!
Good evening everyone!
Just got home from Wicked, and a wonderful backstage tour from Jennifer Laura Thompson, who was so nice and friendly and wonderful. She answered all of our questions, showed us around backstage with all the props and sets, the dressing rooms, and got to hang out in hers, got to see all of the costumes and makeup and everything. Met Shoshana, Carole Shelley, George Hearn, David Ayers. Such a fun night!

That's excellent - glad you had a great time - thanks for letting me live vicariously through you! LOL!
Hi guys... I shared this on the main board, but wanted to share here too... just got back from "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes", and I won't rehash the review (on the main board), but, afterwards, we went to a rest. down the street called Palomino, and the entire cast showed up. I tried no be cool, but as we were leaving Ms. Faith Prince was leaving, so I had to go up to her. Got to meet her, albeit briefly. She's a sweetheart.

Good morning all!
I'm off to work! Gotta love these 80 hour work weeks!
Have a great weekend everyone!
Ugh... up early after a late night... PowerPoint becons...
edit: DAME, fab mojitos at Palomino. They had 5 different kinds, but I stuck with the "original". I still like the ones at B'way Grill better.
Was Ms Prince drinking Mojitos?
I am off to a screening of Monster In LAw followed by a Q & A with Wanda Sykes.
I am trapped in Buffalo. I need MANY mojitos now, please
Oh dear. I think you need more than a mojito. Is it 420 yet?
That is an option, I suppose. But I think I get to escape in a little less than three hours...
Hope your day is going well, Mother Hussy
I am waiting for my bitch to get out of the shower. Wehave a screening to get too.
Yum.. a mojito or two would hit the spot!
