Posted: 5/23/05 at 10:35pmYeah, I polished off the Ben and Jerry's in my freezer to help make my bad day better, so it all kinda evened out in the end.

Posted: 5/23/05 at 10:37pmI'm actually going on three weeks straight of not missing the gym or dance class. Now if only I could get rid of some of the extra poundage...

I received the well deserved dicussion this weekend from the wife - "You know this is my business, I could design a program for you." Maybe next week.
Mondays are starvation days usually, but tonight I am eating Kashi. Love it.

Posted: 5/23/05 at 10:44pmy'know - if your wife is out designing programs (raises hand!!) - I keep waiting for the magical transformation - somebody told me you have to actually use the machines, not just stand there and look at them - imagine that?

OTA - I have a bike in my basement that I never use. She uses a Broadway CD in one of her classes. She is in excellent shape.

It is too late to talk exercise...
Unless it involves lifting a rice cake into my mouth.

Lwyr - we tried the home exercise equipment, but it was just another place to put the laundry... I try to go at least 4 times a week, but - well, can't turn back time I guess...

My food is always very tasty! I don't believe in dieting, just eat what you want and go to the gym to work it off.
Too bad that theory only happens for the first part. The gym doesn't come around too much. It will more this summer now that I have some time to myself (still not much though).

Posted: 5/23/05 at 10:52pmOTA, that's funny... my ex and I had a soloflex. Never figured out how to use it because we always had laundry hanging from it.

Posted: 5/23/05 at 10:54pmI think all home exercise equipment just ends up as a laundry pile. I would get an elliptical machine if I had the money, and the space in my apartment to put it.

Posted: 5/23/05 at 10:57pmthere's this lovely woman at my gym who does the x-country ski machine for an hour and a half every day! Isn't that fun?

Posted: 5/23/05 at 11:18pmI love Chicago porches! They are great for BBQs, hanging out with friends, getting some sun, and just relaxing! The place I stay when I am in town is 2 blocks from Wrigley, so we can sit outside and hear the cheers from the stadium.

Posted: 5/23/05 at 11:25pmWe lived at the corner of Kenmore and Grace for one year. I could see Wrigley from our bedroom. That was a fun time. Salad days. (I was probably your age)
