t-ball = purgatory
Not too bad when he's up at bat, cause I can puff up my chest when he smacks the ball and say "that's my boy", but the rest of the time it's grueling... we did the whole day together - think I heard "Dad" about 878 times today...

The girls were at the theatre? We watched Napoleon Dynamite. Very funny.
yes... I think they liked it (haven't seen them today)... but my wife liked it - she said Sutton is the show... sadly, it wasn't sold out today.
Sutton is the show! She's really wonderful in it.
Hi guys!
Is it time for a drink? It's Saturday night, after all...
hi, Addy...
you have to catch up, I'm on my second...
Looks delicious! Thanks....
easy on the drinking tonight, I think I've caught a stomach bug of some sort.
Ragtime was very nice; it was quite scaled down - I'd never seen it, but I could tell that it had about half the cast. There were times when I wished there were more people on stage. But overall it was a great production, the cast was very strong, and even though they had a small orchestra, it sounded great. Now I'm ready to buy the cast recording and hear it with full sound.
I'm off to Six Flags again! Hope the rain goes away!
Have a great day everyone!

DD - I found my Ragtime CD in the trunk of my car yesterday and will put it back in the rotation. Marin and Brian are awesome as is Mark Jacoby. All three were in Man of La Mancha when we saw it on Broadway. I just googled the cast and see Jimmy Corti is on the CD. He is directing The Full Monty which debuts the new Drury Lane Theatre Water Tower tonight downtown.
I'm gonna have to get my hands on that cast recording...

DD - love your sig.
Ragtime had a "sit down" here. It was pretty good. Rich score. 70's icon Stephanie Mills was Sarah.
Gorgeous weather here. My wife is out for dinner with her best "boy" friends from college and then off to the theatre.
Back from Six Flags, such an awesome day!
No lines on anything except Kingda Ka (which I skipped, I'll go another time). Nitro, Medusa, Batman, walked right on everything. 4 times each. My brain is scrambled completely.
Now I'm not going back to Six Flags until, oh wait, next Sunday.

Then yes, I'll be there on Sunday. Would you and your kids care to join?

We are going a party in the western suburbs in the afternoon. I have a good tenor solo at 11:00 on Sunday.
My parents are here. So far we are having a great time. I took them out for dinner and got them smashed. Between that and the 7 hour plane ride they are pooped.
You are such a good son!

Dame - it is good to get your parents smashed. My mother does not really drink, but my father loves scotch.
I have a relatively slow week, so more paper work.
Hard to believe it's the week before Memorial Day!
It's going to be busy, busy for me... but, if I cross everything off my list that I intend to, it will be very productive.
And, then I can celebrate with a drink!
Everyone else's lives sound so much more enjoyable than mine. I think I'm just grumpy today though.

L - grumpy is my M.O. Aren't the kids gone today?
Memorial Day is already upon us? Geez... where is this year going?
Big audition this afternoon... it's short, song, monologue, out of there. I haven't auditioned in years. I hope I don't make an @ss out of myself.
