I hear ya DAME. As much as mom gets on my nerves, I miss them. Especially after I've spent a few days with them. That's the reason I'm moving back east... to be closer to them. Still a 5 hour flight, but closer.

Quiet Saturday, after a crazy Friday. Spent the afternoon with friends a park, in the sun, playing in the lake, grilling hot dogs.

Was going to go to a teen-production of Fiddler, but now my roomie and I are going for sushi (great hot weather food) and prolly Star Wars...

Tomorrow will be choreography all day... then rehearsal. Oh joy!

Beacon - Hello. I did not get to my geneology tasks last week, I will try to do so next week. We had dinner at my neighbor's new restaurant with a gaggle of friend. Much too many for me. My wife decided to go out with some friends after the restaurant.

Hi all! Spent the day getting the pool ready and took in a HS production of Brigadoon tonight... I am not a big fan of the show, but it truly was remarkable - excellent voices, great sets and very well acted - I was extremely impressed... hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Hey everyone,

Just saw Wicked again tonight, I have been in a down mood all weekend, so that cheered me up. Emily R was in as Glinda US, and she was fabulous! I liked her much better than Kendra (and it was only her 3rd time in the role).

Going to Six Flags Great America tomorrow, that will be 3 weeks in a row for me at the parks. I need a vacation to sit around and do nothing for awhile!

Wow DAME! That's kinda scary! Maybe I don't want to be a hussy anymore...

So my friends suck. They decided that they were too tired to get out of bed today to go to Six Flags. So we sat around all day doing nothing. Went to a nice bar to watch the cubs game. Maybe bowling tonight.

This weekend is a major downer, except hanging out with a few people and seeing Wicked (twice). Oh well, back to NY and regular life on Tuesday.

I've been to House of Blues, this crew I'm with isn't into anything too cultural or uniquely Chicago. If they came to NY for the first time, they'd just sit around in sports bars rather than checking out sites.
I fear that I am growing out of my friends- they are so much into the bar/club scene, drinking to excess at least a few nights a week. I'm getting too old for that stuff. *sigh* Sad to know that my friendships are going to end because I am growing up.

I am all packed for gay days ( thong and all). We leave Wednesday. Going to Star Wars in a little bit. I need to get out of the house. I have been getting pretty nasty in other threads.
