brdlwyr... it's one of those "the prom you always wish you had" kind of thing. We have to dress up as our favorite toy from our childhood, we go to dinner to a restaurant and freak out all the other patrons, then head to a dance hall and freak out THEIR patrons.
Of course, I am one of those people who has ZERO creativity when it comes to dressing up because I HATE dressing up. So I have no idea what I'm gonna wear.

DD - I thought you were going to solicit suggestions on your Toy Story campaign? (BL - I asked the same Prom question)

Is DD getting snarkey?
OTA - I have to keep away from the hot thread - my partner is trying to figure out why Josh Hartnett was on my computer!!!!!!
#8013Who needs a Mojito time?
Posted: 6/3/05 at 3:00pmBL: that was very out of character - I was caught up in the moment! I'm sure you had a very rational explanation!

Snarkey? Moi? Never... *opens up google and searches for the word snarkey... the joys of English as your second language*
*returns from google*
1. snarky (adjective) describes a witty mannerism, personality, or behavior that is a combination of sarcasm and cynicism. Usually accepted as a complimentary term. Snark is sometimes mistaken for a snotty or arrogant attitude.
I'm going to assume you meant the former and not the latter.

DD - I actually used the wrong phrase - I meant something in the line of snippy.
But of course I meant:
a witty mannerism, personality, or behavior that is a combination of sarcasm and cynicism. Usually accepted as a complimentary term.
What was the ignored question, BTW.

the ignored question: for tomorrow's audition they requested I prepare a pop song, and I found it rather odd. I asked if is this common, what type of pop song is appropriate, are B'way contemporary show tunes not ok, and whether anyone had any suggestions.
Anyway, my voice teacher finally came through and we're meeting tonight. Not much preparation time, but I only had a week anyway, and have been so busy all week it's not like it would've made much of a difference.

OTA- when are your kids getting to my apartment??

No wonder, I litterally did not see that question. I think asking for a pop song is odd. I would understand asking for a rock style broadway such as Rent, JCS, etc. I check the AEA site for my wife almost every day. She does not go to musical auditions, but I do not recall seeing any requests for pop songs. To be honest, rather than lie, I could not even suggest a pop song. I would PM BWS.
There, at least it is an answer.
Happy Friday. I am scrambling with my schedule for Tuesday. C9's tonsil surgery is not until 5:00 p.m. which I find ridiculous and I am supposed to be downstate early Tuesday. I assume that everything will be fine.
Good luck with the pop song!!!!
and I am having Margaritas tonight:
